Leon Renilson | She should be preserved as the last of her kind and councils should stop interfering in local business for their own ends...
Sophie Wilson | Have been out to see the ship and thought it was really amazing, would have liked nothing more than to have had a look around on it or atleast seen some information about it out there. It would be great for Wales if something happened to it
Tony Taylor |
Lloyd Imrie | She's so majestic, it would be nice to let people do something to save her and let them have a closer look, i've seen her close up and she looms over you and intimerdates slightly it would cost a fortune to repair her

I would love my own kids to enjoy the times that i had on the ship, and seing as the councel for the way thay got the fun ship to have to close thay should be held resposible for puting the ship back to the way she was. that ship has been there all my life and has given me so meany good memories it would be a tragedy to lose her from the north wales coast line |

I spent time aboard this ship as my husband Terry says above. When it was the fun ship with my grandparents fond memories always, But there is as said history of this fine ship which you can feel once on board her. Please do the right thing. Long Live the Duke xx |
tj mcmullen | I think that this ship is a peace of history so therefore it shouldn,t be destroyed.
nicola hand | a once beautiful ship that has been left to rot...absolutely heartbreaking!!!!
Richard Cairns | What a magnificent ship rotting away, the owners should be made to restore her to her former glory. Possibly with the assitance of some government funding.
Anonymous | Returning from Wales on holiday, i saw this once proud ship & had to stop &look. Once home i googled the name & was saddened to read it's history & the fact it's been left to rot. It would be a pleasure to visit her if restored & opened to the public... what an attraction to the area that would be!
eddie crowley | I remember visiting this ship as a child when it was open as the funship, seeing the engine room and bridge. it is a shame that it is being left to rot.
Greg Aratoon | As the last remaining triplet steamer we should encourage the owner to take resposibility to revive her. I was at the ship today and it is in a bad state, please let someone bring it back to life. Very sad to see it this way.

Hamill's | Hi, Me, My Yonger Brother & Sister, Mum & Her Boyfriend Went And Stayed At Talacre For A Camping Holiday. During Our Stay We Visited The Duke Of Lancaster, I Thought It Looked Amazing But I Was Disapointed With The Fact That Its Being Left To Rot. Trying To Picture The Past, Like When It Was The Night Club Etc All The Way Back To It Transporting, I Can Imagine It As Being Somthing Great That Poeple Would Love To Visit. If It Was Tydied Up & Open To The Public Ide Love To Take My Children To Visit It When Im Older. The History Of This Boat Could Be Realy Interesting If It Wasnt Dieing Out. Please Save The Duke Of Lancaster. :)

Mervyn Hamilton | I think that the duke is a priceless piece of british maritime history that should at the very least be preserved. i went aboard as a child in the eighties and could appreciate then that this was somthing special being wasted. After visiting her today, i can see that its now urgently time for action before we loose this gem. Therefore i very happily give my support.
Paul Harrington | We must save this fine ship, a most important part of british maritime history.
