| 153 | Amy Joffe | We have enough office buildings in Dr. Phillips and do not need another set of buildings and another slab of asphalt for a parking lot. Dr. Phillips Boulevard traffic is busy enough and does not need another intersection for possible auto accidents.
Please reconsider. Could these offices be rezoned for Turkey Lake Road near Dr. Phiilips High? School? |

Mary Summers | We already have enough developed land in Dr. Phillips.
Lorris Weppelmann | Please stop the office buildings from invading spaces like this one. Enough!

Leslie Haywood | I have lived in the Dr. Phillips area for over 20 years and have seen first hand the explosion of development in the area. While some of the changes have been welcome, grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, not all of it has been necessary, nor wanted. We live in a beautiful area and one of the things that saddens me deeply about Florida is the way that we have allowed our natural resources be paved over to our overall detriment. Poll after poll has shown that the residents of Florida want to keep green spaces and that these niches are important, yet the politicians ignore our pleas. Please don't let that happen here.

Vivian Salazar | We need to stop thinking so much about the present and think about the future when children will not be able to know what it's like to climb a tree in the woods or fish in a spring or observe nature in it's must natural form. Please stop the over building before it is too late. If we don't stop now the only green legacy we will leave behind will be in the form of money!
Joe Georganna | Enough is enough. We can barely fill the office buildings and abundant stores already flooding our area. Have some common sense. No more building up in the Dr. Phillips area!

Mary Barnett | Please do not develop the last bit of green in Dr. Phillips. This is why we live here!

Anonymous | Why do we feel it necessary to destroy the natural charm of Dr Phillips? Dr. Phillips himself, if I'm not mistaken, desired to keep the Dr. Phillips area 'family-freiendly'. Please rethink this people!
Kathy Ricci | We have lived in Sand Lake Hills since 1984. We hated to see the trees go to make way for Publix, etc. and would very much hate to see this park go away. We have more than enough buildings to look at. Please save the forest.
Nicole Williams |
Brooke Freiberger |
Beverly H. Brown | Enough is enough ! Dr. Phillips is becoming a solid mass of concrete - shops, restaurants, offices, etc. PLEASE don't approve the destruction of a beautiful nature sanctuary for more "concrete" = more traffic !
Kelly Tracey | Please keep the Dr. Phillips Forest the way it is, we love it. It is part of the reason why we moved here 10 years ago. A sence of community and a feeling of small town in a sprawlling overdeveloped county.
Gina Dahlmann | Do we really need, more commercial or residential property. Our real estate market is flooded at the moment. This only leads to more traffic, more pollution and more crimes. Gina Dahlmann
Basil Meecham | To often we see short sighted attitudes in developers and government. Please take a step back and take the time to consider the long term consequences of destroying this unique property. Lets leave beautiful SMALL spot for future generations to enjoy - with pride.
S Ohe |
Pamela Trudeau | There are to many office buildings being built in the Dr. Phillips area.
Judy Kirby | I'm not against development - but we already have TOO many office condos, businesses and retail shops in this area (and more are in the process of being built as I type this.) The forest adds to the overall appeal of the area and should be protected.
Janice Satava | Please save this bit of respite for the residents. Our community hasa small town feel and welike it that way. With all of the talk about saving the planet I believe a great way tostart is right here at home!
Mark Senseman |
Sherry Morgan | Let's save this beautiful piece of property from development.
Susan Dey | I cannot believe that the DP Foundation would even consider this. Is $ all that is important to you. When I moved here years ago, I was told by several sources that Dr. Phillips set up this area to be protected and kept "rural". What has happened to his dream. I am so apalled at all the construction that is going on in the Dr. Phillips area. If too many new offices are built the ones will be left vacant. Restaurant "Row" has become Restaurant "Overload". Please STOP !!! Please protect Dr. Phillips from becoming MORE commercialized. Enough is enough!!!!!!!!!!!
Susan Kosko |
Melanie Manneck | We REALLY DON'T NEED more offices or homes there. There are enough other constructions for offices and homes going on in that area which already damaged enough nature!!!!
Susan Kosko |
Nancy Pitt |
Ken Barnett | Its bad enough that we are all jammed together but the thought of another office building on that street and the removal of that park kills me. We need that strip of land intact, upgraded or not.
Dee Brandt |
Jeanne Simon | There's not much green left around here. I agree that it needs to be saved.
