When Don Siegelman had to go to prison for no more than any other political person has done with the giving of a contribution. When someone gives a contribution to a candidate, if that person is best suited for the position, then they are appointed for that position. There was no quid pro quo.
That's the way it has always been in the political field for as long as there has been politics. This man should not have been sent to prison or treated the way that he was! Hopefully the 11th Circuit will look at this case in regards to the facts and the law. |
