Danny LaMunyon | The best Alabama Governor in my life time. I'll be with you " 'til the last dog dies".
Geoffry P. Goodwin | Every day this man spends in jail makes me ashamed to be an American. I only hope that this whole sick administration ends up where Don currently sits, or this country will never be the same again.
DAVID LAMBERT | Free Don and punish the cabal.
wendell hedges |
Margaret Miller |
Randy Scott | This is out and out politcal persecution.
Sunshine Scott |
Kathleen Lees | The imprisonment of Gov. Siegelman on trumped up charges is a national disgrace. He is a political prisoner, and must be freed immediately!
Peggy Walls | A few times in one's life, an event occurs that is so wrong that talthough there may be no personal connection to the person, or persons involved, that a deep concern surfaces because somehow we know that our own freedom and the justice for all in our beloved country depend upon justice for everyone. We cannot be silent. This is our time to speak for justice. Free Don Siegelman!

Peggy Stelpflug |
Leah Patterson Lust | What has happened to Don Siegelman is a travesty of justice.

| 67 | Paula Hurst | This was a political persecution and nothing less.
He needs to be immediately released so that he can resume the life that was interrupted by Karl Rove and George Bush |
DAVI L. LAMBERT | Use of the Justice Department to influence elections and intimidate candidates is a high crime and all involved should be jailed.
John MacDougall | The legal process that tried and jailed Governor Seigelman appears--from more and more published information--to have been poisoned from the beginning. Re-open his case and try him fairly.
David Ralson | If Siegelman & Scrushy broke the law, then why are the people in D.C. still doing the the same thing and not going to jail
george anderson |
Sonny Coulter (former Phenix City mayor) | Our nations forefathers intended to establish a nation built on a justice system based on fairness and honesty. This case screams of injustice being reaped on our former Gov. Don Siegelman and hopefully our congress and/or this nations supreme court will right this wrong.
anonymous | I will forever stand by Don!
Debbie Woodham |
Amy Methvin | Gov. Don Siegelman is innocent. This case must be fully investigated. Our country's justice system is at stake!!!
nellie green | if don siegelman could or he can ever run for gov. again i would vote for him i really like him and i do not belive he is guilty of any wrong doing.

Asa Goode | As a life long Republican, and former Republican staffer to several state wide elected officials and others, I would be the last one you might think would say this, but this prosecution has been motivated by my fellow GOP going on a witch hunt and a quest to destroy someone just because of what party they are affiliated with.
Bob Boles | This situation is so very wrong. We want him freed.
Dana Siegelman | My dad is my hero, and obviously I believe he is innocent of all charges brought against him. Please pursue justice in this manner. Please stop partisan prosecution before it erodes our government. With all my heart I thank you!!!!

| 85 | Michael Goddard | While Director of the Alabama Reunion under Guy Hunt, I found Don to embrace whtas best for Alabama not the partisian politics that hold our State back.

Carolyn Haines | Justice has not been served in this case.
Janet E Jacobs | I am praying for Governor Seigelman's freedom and ultimate aquittal.
Mary L. Bryson | He will be set free. He will be the hero who saved our country, and hopefully, one day, the president of the USA.

Tim Tow |
John MacDougall | The case against former Governor Seigelman appears--now that it has been examined carefully-to have been based on weak evidence advanced by profoundly prejudiced attorneys, accepted by a fiercely partisan judge and affirmed by a confused and ill informed jury. The verdict of that jury should now be set aside.
Al McCullough | Let justice be done upon those who are corrupting our Justice Department. Let us not rest until that justice is fulfilled.
ivan swift | see john macdougall, ed hart, pam miles and other comments -- so many good ones
| 96 | Helen Moore | I worked with Don for thirty years and in addition have been a close friend. Please let me know what I can do.

Paula Hurst | I will not rest until we get this man out of prison. He is innocent. I firmly believe that this was a scheme by Karl Rove and Bush to remove our greatest Alabama Democrat from the political arena. This man does not deserve what has happened to him. This is a moral outrage so deep and so heinous that we MUST not rest until he is released. This is also a total failure of the criminal justice system which has been taken over by thugs and low lifes like Steve Feaga and Lewis Franklin. These people have no morals, no principals and no integrity and I hope we all get to see them put away where they cannot harm anyone else ever again. They are the ones who deserve long prison sentences not Don. We must all keep up the pressure on Congress to root this evil out once and for all.
Theresa Poludniak |
| 100 | Sarah Smith | This is the most unfair occurance in the history of this United States! Don Siegelman needs to be let out of prison and this case throwed away forever.
Every word that these people have written under "comments" are the God's truth. We as Americans cannot any longer sit back and let these type of occurances happen to good politicans like him because of political affiliations. This is one of the best politicans in Alabama and this man needs to be out and at home where he belongs.
I do believe that we have people in Washington who understands what and why something like this happened to a good man to begin with. If this is allowed to happen, it will forever change the political future of America forever! |
