Domperidone is the only thing that keeps my stomach moving and I currently have to purchase it in Canada and go thru the FDA opening the package and the possibility of their seizing it. Without it, my stomach will NOT function at all. Food goes in and sits. I either vomit it out or it has to be pumped out. The end result has been a 60# weight loss and a major nutritional deficit ...until the domperidone. I feel I live today only because I am able to take this medication!!! It is worth the trouble I go through to get it. It would be beneficial for so many other gastroparesis patients.
Please, reconsider making it more accessable in the US. People die every day from this horrible disease. |
