Zofran is very expensive and is not approved by my primary insurance aetna for more than 12 pills a month and not covered at all through my part D medicare plan. I need to take anti nausea vomiting medication 3 times a day. Even with that I am still on a liquid diet and still vomiting some. The best medication to help this condition is domperidone yet since the fda cannot approve it I have to keep going back to the hospital to get intravenous medications. Please help improve the quality of my life and others who are suffering from this life changing disease. |

This family member is on a liquid diet and still throwing up with reglan and zofran at the dosage approved by the insurance company. They allow 12 pills per month and the prescription is supposed to be for 3 a day 90 a month. If this medication would be approved it is much more affordable. I can't stand seeing a family member in and out of the hospital to control this severe gastroparesis since there is no medication we can afford to obtain. Approve this now and save the many people suffering with this! |
