| 954 | Suzanne | Juel | TX | US | I urge the FDA to reconsider its ban on domperidone. I can only speculate on the reasoning behind issuing the statement; but the cases sited do not seem to support the stance taken. Many medications have potential negative side effects, and must be monitored by a physician. Rather than increasing the oversite by physicians by approving the medication, I honestly think that the result of the ban will be an increase in the unmonitored use of the medication. |

| 961 | Luis | Abreu | NY | US | Docters and patients alike know that Domperidone is safer than reglan I dont understand why the FDA is doing this. It is avery difficult to wacth my wife suffer knowing that their is somthing out there that may help. I actualling asked my mother to bring me Domperidone from the Dominican Republic where it was very easy for her to pick up. | 962 | Anonymous | Anonymous | VA | US | It's effective and has less side effects then the drug typically prescribed to increase milk supply (Reglan). You say the effects on infants that get it through breast milk hasn't been studied? This is PRESCRIBED to infants in higher doses than they would get in breast milk.
What's your real motivation FDA???$$$??? Do the right thing! Approve this drug! Imagine the mom up at 3am with an infant that refuses the bottle or CAN'T take a bottle because of a defect and is screaming because his mom's milk supply is drying up! |
