If the United States has another medicine out there to treat this diease, where is it? and why isn't it on the market? If not, do more studies to approve this medicine.

If the government says babies should be exclusivly breastfed for the first six months, they should be willing to do everything they can to accomodate mothers in doing so. All drugs carry some risk depending on how they are administered. Probably every drug on the market COULD kill, and HAS killed someone but the FDA has still given them approval... |
