402 Mary TinsleyDear Pride organisers I was at Pride that day with my partner who is trans and if she had been stopped from using the women's toilets that would have made us both really upset and ruined our Pride. She uses women's toilets every day in straight society and has never been questioned or stopped (although I was aware from her appearance that she was trans when I first met her and others might be too). It would have been a terrible irony if the one place she had a problem using the women's toilet was lesbian, gay and TRANSGENDER PRIDE. Please issue an apology and guarantee that this will not happen again. Mary Tinsley

408 AnonymousWell this just sums up the false ethics and deeply disgraceful behaviours and attitudes of people who should know better!!!!! I am disgusted to be British!!!!! May God have some influence on the sick minds of these morons!

421 Rev. Mark LeeDo not make life more difficult for trans people than it already is. The ability to easily and swiftly use the bathroom is about a basic human dignity as exists. At public events here in quite conservative Colorado the rental toilets all serve a single person at a time and are ALL unisex, so there is no need for any extra signs, monitors, or discrimination. "Keep it simple" and keep it available to all.

423 Mx TomboiWould the Chair of London Pride care to comment on the fact that the Trans@Pride Committee were given a budget of £3k to organise events for the Trans Community, when all the other community groups were given £10k? T is not for Tokenism and the trans community shows the way forward for our collective movement by requesting solidarity, respecting and supporting each other and not standing by idly whilst basic human rights are trampled upon because "we are just proud to be gay", to quote Stonewall representatives.Vive La Trans Revolution! 424 Rev. Renee DuBoseIf this incident did indeed occur; I realize that this can NOT be undone; however, I would hope that for any FUTURE events in London, that 'sensitiivity training' along with a strong diversity training would be required for city leaders. Thank you for your commitment to "do the right thing" & make positive changes so that nothing like this ever occurs again.

436 Frank ZerilliThat this would happen at a Pride event is just appalling.
437 Mark McKenzieDiscrimination of this sort should be unacceptable, especially at a glbT event. The T stands for Transgender. Please do not discriminate like this again!

450 AnonymousThis kind of treatment of trans people is unacceptable and it speaks not only to discrimination but also lack of acknowledgement of a person's basic humanity.
