Julian Gregory | This is outrageous. At Pride? We still have more work to do.

Ellie Kennedy |
Carolyn You | Next time please allow trans people the dignity of choosing the washroom of their choice at Pride events.
Sarah Hipkins |
Heather Anne Scott | This would not fly in Canada. I am a woman and use the washroom appropriate to my gender. Such acts would constitute unfair discrimination based on my sex and/or medical condition. I AM A WOMAN!
MATT BRAY |
Caroline Bradley | a very low blow...
Joakim Pettersson |
Lisa Jones | Trans people are the lowest of the low when it comes to pecking order for receiving anti-discrimation strategies. Even the Police Hate crime panels do not identify us as a catagory at risk.
| 612 | louise connolly | i totally agree with the statement, pride need to get their
collective acts together very soon or risk alienating our community... maybe they don't understand us...? |
Diana Clausznitzer |
Michelle Williams |
Kate Bygrave | We are women and should be treated as such. I cannot believe that such an incident could occur at a Pride event.
Mary Jane Fiddler | This is nothing short of ridiculous. Imposing thier dicrimination on the transgendered by making them use toilets intended for the disabled? as if being transgendered is a disability; and consider those who are truly disabled, they should be just as upset as the transgendered, having to un-necessarily wait to use a toilet intended for them because it is being occupied by a fully abled trans person. It's laughable
Anonymous | This whole thing makes me very sad and angry.

Rev. Troy Perry | Awful! This should not have taken place.
shona fairclough |
Joe Mendell | Dispicable!!!
Lucy McQueen |
Natalie Murphy | I thought this type of discrimination ended years ago. The thought that one minority group could discrimate against another simmilar group sickens me. It is disgusting and the people resposible should be ashamed of themselves and the group they represent.
| 626 | Mia Nikasimo | I wonder what is going on when lesbian, gay and bisexual people adopt a "homosexist attitude (i.e transphobic)" towards transsexuals and transgendered people? However, it becomes clear that even they share the same indifference heterosexists have abused them with -insecurity, fear and ignorance born of their shared Judao Christian or Islamic conditioning.
Even a Policeman LGBT Liaison Officer is not fully aware of his remit rather he compounds the issue which means that the organisers of Pride have alot more to do as yet.
Here is a start, transsexual/transgender people are not disabled, we are people with gender preferences that are enshrined in law. It seems to me that even the LGB's apple cart is threatened by the "T". This issue can only be sorted out proactively; no piecemeal solution will solve this problem... UNITE OR FALL!!! TRANSGENDER/TRANSSEXUAL PEOPLE ARE HERE TO STAY... WE ARE PROUD AND WE ARE TRANSGENDERED. |
Lynda Rose | ensure that such discrimination is never allowed to occur again.
Anonymous |
Anonymous | TG persons should be able to use the toilet of the gender they are displaying.
sonia jardiniere | I have never been obliged to use anything other than the women's toilets in thirty years of being a transwoman. How sad that this episode should have occurred at Pride. Please ensure it NEVER does again
Aidan Marshall |
Ethan Kristopher-Hartley |
nic aka lexi | this is rediculous! it Pride! that means aceting all people for who they are and living together a one without discrimination. what happeed hre should make many people feel ashamed of what they have done.
April Richardson |
Andi Rossetter |
| 636 | Anonymous | All of you who were not there get off your high horse! Most of this stuff has been made up and has damaged the trans community! I was there and saw what happened with my own eyes... it differs massively from the allegations made by a certain two individuals.!!
Equal rights for all is all I am concerned about, but some people take things too far and twist the truth in such a way that it ends up causing more harm than good! |
Sophie | Absolutely shocking treatment I am so angry that in this century we still have tags on our gender.
