Rena | He's always been a disgusting bore. Now the whole world knows it and he's done.
Heather Jarvis | My high functioning autistic son looks typical to people, but due to his inability to conform to a classroom environment, he began having suicidal thoughts in kindergarten. We have had to fight hard to get services for him and finally he is returning to the happy child he used to be. The social skills program he goes to is filled with autistic children, not one of them what I would call a brat. Our children may need extra help and understanding so they can be happy and successful. Everyone of them is a blessing to their parents. I am so outraged by Mike Savage's comments. I will boycott any companies that are supporting him on this issue. Heather Jarvis
scott Jarvis | Mike Savage needs to be removed from the air. He is causing distress and harm to countless families already dealing so many challenges. Our children have autism spectrum disorder. What is his excuse?

Chris Webber | I am 40 years old. I've had undiagnosed deficits in exec function, motor skills, and communication most of my life. In my 30s, I began seeking tx for ADHD. I am just now coming to grips with the idea that perhaps I am "on the spectrum". Michael Weiner is a HUGE douche.

| 285 | Anonymous | It is hard to understand why these children can't behave like "normal" children until you experience it personally.
I think in the very least Mr. Savage should get sensitivity training and spend some supervised time with these children. He should not be allowed to get away with using this derogatory language. |
Katrijn Netherton | I know this first hand from my best friend. Autism is not a fraud, and people fight it every minute of their lives.

Kelli S. Tencer | As a parent of a child with autism, I find Mr. Savage's comments totally offensive and ignorant. His comments are as offensive to the disability community as Don Imus' comments were to the African-American community.
Michelle Brozinski | As an advocate for children with disabilities, this is a crime. Autism is a very real disability.

Julie Kiger | I don't think anyone who doesn't have someone in their life with a disability has the right to make comments about them. Let him walk a mile in their shoes first, then make comments.

Lynne Hewitt | To attack the defenseless in the name of entertainment and shock value is beneath contempt. To defend the action of an employee who does so smacks of corporate irresponsibility and heartlessness. Consumers affected by autism and those who support them must and will vote with their dollars to withdraw support from any companies that elect to associate themselves with hate speech of this sort. If controversial scientific assertions are to be made by national figures, they need to be able to read and cite relevant literature to support their statements. If not, they should be fired and responsible individuals hired in their place.
Anonymous | Sorry Mr. Savage you haven't got a clue!!!!! I knew something was wrong with my grandson when he was 2-years old!!! He is now 15-and tes he is autistic!!!!! You're the kind of people Hitler enlisted!!!!
Jonathan Currier | I suggest Michael Savage spend a month as a care assistant for a family with an autistic child. I can't believe anyone could be so maliciously ignorant.
