It should be a mandate that the federal government and state governments offer up to a business; either offer direct deposit to all employees or face fines and penalties. Most large companies and even some smaller companies offer direct deposit, we are moving toward the age where a paycheck waiting to clear is not good enough. An employee should have the option to enroll in direct deposit because of its common nature and practical use in today's economic environment.
