Ever since the 2nd injection which was a higher dose of 11.25, I have experienced depression, and severe muscle pain. I can't sleep and I'm getting desperate as to what I can do for pain relief. It's had to walk or get out of a chair or bed. No one knows what's wrong. I will not continue this medication. This is horrible. |

The first round went fine but I still had lots of endometriosis when I had my last lap so to try to prevent having my ovary removed (trying to hold out until I have children) and preserve my fertility I took the 2nd round of treatment at the urging of my Dr. I have had extreme pain, memory loss, severe joint pain/swelling, nausea, irratic moods, loos of libido, hot flashes/mood swings, irregular bleeding, and still the endometriosis is continuing to grow. I have been off of Lupron for almost 3 months now and am still having many horrible symptoms the worse of which are the joint pain/stiffness, and the severe abdominal pain (much worse than it was before I started on the lupron). Please take this drug off the market so others do not have to go through this. I feel that we are being taken advantage of because endometriosis is a horrible disease that is hard to treat and many of us fear for our fertility,, etc. Dr's use our fear and ignorance on the disease to push this horrible drug at us. Please do not take Lupron!!!! |

And this did nothing to help my pain with endrometrosis. We should all get together and have a class action law suite against this company. I only took 1 injection and I regret it every day. It has ruined my body! I am 29 and my knees and joints hurt,I gained 40 lbs and have suffered with depression. I have stopped going to social events because everyone thinks I am pregnant. I switched doctors and he did an diagnostic laprascopy and found that I didn't have endo. I eat healthy and exercise EVERYDAY b/c I want my life back, but the weight won't budge.The fact that doctors push this injection to their patients without knowing the longterm side effects is disheartning. I didn't even need to take it, that's what makes me mad! |

I wish I would never have taken the treatment and completed more research. I received a three month treatment; however, it is well beyond the three months and the side effects are still present. I have severe hot flashes, night sweats, muscle and joint pain, and I continue to feel the pain that caused me to receive the treatment to begin with. I think Takeda Abbott Pharnaceutical should be sued and a class action suit brought against the company. Too many women have been mislead and continue to suffer from side effects well beyond their treatment. I can only pray that my body returns to normal as I was told it would following the termination of the treatment. |

I am now 29 years old and have a slew of reproductive and endocrine issues. The whole back of my head and neck blew up like a balloon and became hard as a rock. Thereafter, all the musculature of my neck, shoulders and back remained contracted and has never released since. This was my first symptom of fibromyalgia. I then went on to develop the other debilitating symptoms and now, 19 years later, I have been out of work for 4 years. I lost my career as a University Professor and my marriage. I was an award-winning scholar and dedicated teacher. Now I am nothing but a walking pain blob. All due to Lupron treatment for endometriosis. |

My dr. pushed Lupron on me simply stating it would shrink the tissues. Granted I have not had any pelvic pain but I have many other symptoms: various pains, gas, loss of sexual desire, headaches, extreme fatigue, mood swings, depression, confusion. My fatigue is so bad it is hard to get out of bed to go to work. I am 26 years old with 2 small children at home. I cant be the mother or wife I want to be because before it was the endometriosis, now it is the medication making me sick. |
