I finally agreed to do a 1 injection that would last for 3 months. It was the worst mistake I'd ever made in my life. I bled for 2 months straight, was in horrible pain every single day while this poison was in my body and had extremely horrible side effects from it. Lupron needs to be taken off the market and stopped from being pushed on patients by their doctors who think this drug is the micarle drug for endometriosis. I will never again take Lupron. |

I have extreme mood swings, my body always aches, I have started having migranes, I have anxiety attacks bad, night sweats are still going on, and my endo symptoms are worse now then they ever were. I am barely able to take care of my house let alone find a new job cause I lost the last due to not being able to work. Lupron has made my life a misery. |

It did not (I didn't think it would). I nearly bled to death with my next cycle from severe menorhaggia and had to have an emergency hsyterectomy only three weeks after my injection. The hot flashes and night sweats are the LEAST of my side effects. When I began having difficulty walking, I went to my PCP who referred me to a rheumotologist and a neurologist. My PCP had never even heard of Lupron treatments for women. I have backaches, headaches, leg pains so severe I can't hardly drive my car, and all my joints ache, crack and snap all the time. My hands are numb all the time and I have to take glucosamine to have any dexterity at all. I can't walk if I am at rest for even ten minutes. I experience constant symptoms of just about every autoimmune disease out there with no real answers. Lupron is the only common denominator. Not to mention what's it done to my temperament and moods. I have no desire to interact with people, not even my friends, and when I do, I get easily annoyed and angry. I cannot enjoy life anymore. I didn't even need this drug since my doctor gave me the hysterectomy only three weeks after my injection. I told him of my fears before getting it, and he shrugged me off. I should have listened to my instincts and walked out of his office. Now I'm sicker than I ever was before my uterine problems began. THIS DRUG IS POISON! |

| 621 | Anonymous | Anonymous | OH | US | My Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer and because he had such a large prostate the Dr. recommended a preliminary shot of Lupron (he said it was a large dosge?) to shrink it so they could do radiation treatments. I know if my dad could talk today he would have rather died from the prostate cancer instead of what he is going through now. After taking the Lupron shot my healthy 69 yr. old dad who was an avid trapshooter and physically was strong as an ox became quickly someone I didn't recognize. The Dr. said he would experience hot flashes and night sweats but that was all the side effects. NO IT WASN'T!! My dad in the beginning had memory loss, a shuffled gait, weakness on his left side, kidney stones, blurred vision, seizures and trouble with everything he used to do. Now 5 yrs. later and only having the one shot, He now has severe memory loss, difficulty swallowing, cannot walk, 90% blind, incontinent, severe joint pain, and cannot communicate with his family. LUPRON NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED and ALL possible side effects should be given to patients so they can make an educated decision. If my dad could talk today he would caution everyone about taking this drug and he would have taken his chances with the prostate cancer or the removal of the the prostate. My dad is in hospice care now and I know he'll be in heaven soon out of the pain and the anguish that his body and mind gives him everyday. Thanks to our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ my Dad will get a new body and mind and will be happy once again. |

I feel worse than I ever have in my life. I feel totally out of control like I am losing my mind. I do not feel like the same person as before. I was given this for PMS. I was not tested for Endometrosis. I suffer from depression and anxiety anyways. It is genetic. Now my condition has worsened and my medicine does not seem to help. I always feel edgy and have had difficulty dealing with work and life in general. |

I already suffered from depression and this made it ten times worse. I stop being able to work out, go out. I still can not bend over, squat down,hold my arms up for a long period of time everything hurts. I had no problems with my teeth and had all of them now I have about 5 missing and have had to replace them and still another 5,000.00 left because of this drug. My teeth,bones,hair all got brittle and now I cant get any doctor who understands what this drug does to you to help me. |

I am now 25 and am Insulin Resistant and take diabetes medication. I have thyroid issues....."multi nodule goiter" and take tyroid meds. And to top it all off I now have super low testosterone levels. I also have muscle pain that has been said to be fibromyalgia (I think that is the doctors way of saying I don't know what is wrong) And out of no where I periodically have issues with costrocondritus. | 632 | Anonymous | Anonymous | NC | US | I am 21 yrs old and on Feb 29, 2008 was diagnosed with endo...the dr wanted me to do six months worth of shots, I have only done two, I was supposed to have my third this past friday but i have decided to have a baby...I called the dr office to see if that was a good idea to go off the shots and they told me no to stay on them, but little did i know that i have been having so much pain in my hips, knees, and legs that it was coming from the shots, everyone told me i would feel so much better after the surgery, well i didnt. I have been out of work for 9 weeks now because everyday i hurt so bad that i cant do anything. They have tested me for cancer and everything else but say they cant find anything wrong. I would like to know if anyone has had trouble conceiving after being on this drug? I am so sad to hear that this shot has ruined so many lives. But i do thank God that i got on this website because i was going to call and reschedule my shot but i will definately not now. They side it would help my pain and help the endo well it didn't had to have another surgery cause it didn't do anything. I'm 30 and feel like i'm 80. While i was actually on Lupron my pain got so much worse. I all of a sudden developed bladder problems and pain. My doctor said i have Intersitial Cystitis and that this is causing my pain. I never had any problems with my bladder before i started Lupron. I hope something happens.
