The petition

Clean Money, Clean Elections means that candidates would have the option to be funded by the state instead of special interest groups, big business, and wealthly individuals. This makes candidates more accountable to their voters and makes it possible for anyone to run for office. Maine and Arizona are having great success with the system already, with people from both political parties running and winning with Clean Money, Clean Elections. Connecticut has recently adopted legislation and California has a proposition on the ballet this year for Clean Money, Clean Elections. This is a real movement that you can really make a difference with. Show politicians how important this issue is!
