| 102 | Melissa Rones | Dean O'Rourke's contributions to the law school are truly remarkable. During her time as dean, she has devoted considerable energy to public service, loan repayment issues, and the overall quality of life of the law school community. At the same time, she has continued to enhance the BUSL educational experience through her work in the classroom, where she stands out even amongst truly exceptional colleagues. |

| 105 | Sheila Collins | Changing the elevators so that they all went to every floor was a monumental task, but Dead O'Rourke accomplished it and the elevators are SO much better now! |

| 110 | Xinyue Lin | I think she has done a great job, and it would be an honor to have her as the permanent dean of the law school. |
| 111 | Anonymous | Dean O'Rourke has improved student morale and given the students of the law school an increased voice in changes relevant to them. |

| 113 | Paul J. Kim | My positive impression of Dean O'Rourke stems from her clear devotion to the Law School, Legal Follies, and the NY Yankees. She's hot. I hope you will give her your fullest consideration. |
| 114 | Yemi Getahun | Dean O'Rourke,
Thank you for all your support and generosity throughout the PIP process. Working with you has been a motivator. I admired your honesty and directness ever since our orientation speech last year. I know PIP has learned a great deal from you, but so have I on a personal leve. Its been a pleasure working with you and I hope to continue.
Best, Yemi Getahun |
| 115 | Pratima Narayan | We would be losing a great asset to our school if Dean O'Rourke is not selected as the law school's next Dean. She has done a great job as Dean-ad-interim in developing a more well-rounded BU community. She has been very supportive of BLSA this year and for that I am very appreciative. She has been both present and vocal at our events. She is tough and straightforward, but also very sincere. Dean O'Rourke honored her commitment to establish a public interest repayment program at Boston University. Despite work-study cuts, she made it possible for all PIP applicants to receive summer grants.
Dean O'Rourke didn't accept the position as Dean-ad-interim under the best of circumstances but she has proven that she is capable of doing an excellent job. She is always aware of what's going on at the Tower with the students, regardless of her other responsibilities. She is an inspiration and a role model for women in the legal profession. Plus, she's a Yankee fan! |
| 116 | Jon Woodard | Dean O'Rourke's emphasis on bringing in quality faculty, and starting the LRAP have, and will continue to enhance the BU experience, and build BUSL's reputation |

| 118 | Elizabeth Camerota | I think Dean O'Rourke has done so much for BUSL in the two years that I have been a student here. Yes, she has given new lounge chairs, fixed the elevators (that was huge) and I think enhanced the general reputation of the school. But I feel that she has done much more in an understated way. Dean O'Rourke brings an air of quiet confidence, responsibility and efficiency to the job. She seems to get things done, something that (from what I've heard) was lacking before she took over as Dean. I had the opportunity last semester to have Dean O'Rourke as a professor. Not only was I extremely impressed with her knowledge and aptitude as a professor, but I could tell that the some of the qualities that made her an excellent professor parallel to qualities she would utilize as Dean. We would lose an amazing Dean AND professor if Dean O'Rourke leaves. |
| 119 | Isaac Mamaysky | Dean O'Rourke has done a great job with everything from attracting new faculty to bringing in students from Tulane when they needed help and to helping individual law students with various issues and concerns. Everyone considers her a huge plus for the law school. |

| 122 | Tracy Walts | While I am only a 1L and therefore don't know of a BUSL prior to Dean O'Rourke, I feel she is an important part of the BUSL community. I think her visability and contact with the student body is impressive. I also appreciate her work towards a Loan Repayment Assistance Program and dedication to promoting public interest work. Thank you Dean O'Rourke. |

| 138 | Rachel Irving | Since this is my first year, I can't say much about changes - but I've had a wonderful first year and it's wonderful how willingly Dean O'Rourke has listened to (and considered) student input. She helps it feel like our school. |

| 143 | Katherine Haskell | Dean O'Rourke has made our school more than just a school. Although I could detail all the amazing things she has done for the school in general, I'm sure many other students will do that for me. Instead, I would like to relate a personal way she has touched me. After my 1L year, I was in a car accident and ended up in the hospital for a while. Dean O'Rourke not only kept the faculty updated on my condition (which resulted in an outpouring of support from many faculty members), she also went out of her way to send me flowers and best wishes during my recovery. She also made it perfectly clear to me that the administration would do anything within their power to help me to get back to school and functining in September. If it wasn't for the amazing support of Dean O'Rourke, I don't think I would have been able to get right back on track with my education. I am forever grateful for that. I never thought that a member of the administration at a top law school would EVER care so much about one individual student. I tell all prospective law students I know about the amazing treatment Dean O'Rourke gave me to induce them to aply to BUSL. |
| 144 | Michael Robertson | Dean O'Rourke's candor with the student body has been a hallmark of her tenure. She is clearly dedicated to producing a group of alumni who leave BU with a favorable opinion of the school and would likely to give back in the future. |
