Helen Lok | As a 3L, I have seen the postive changes that BUSL has gone through since Dean O'Rourke became our ad interim dean. Her leadership and the positive changes under her leadership is the reason I will choose to give back to BUSL (i.e. money). I just hope that BUSL makes the right decision in picking a Dean and choose the candidate that is most worthy of the position. Thanks.

Christina Rice | It's so nice to have a Dean who cares so much about the students.
Kathryn Potalivo | Ever since I started school here at BUSL, I've been very impressed with how invested the administration is in the lives of the students. I credit that in large part to Dean O'Rourke. Her words and actions have consistently demonstrated that students at BUSL are appreciated and valued by the administration. I believe that the sense of community Dean O'Rourke has created makes BUSL unique among law schools.

Gared Schneberger | I believe the dean's handling of the situation involving Tulane Law School students was admirable. I realize that many other schools also chose to admit Tulane students, however, this should not discredit what Dean O'Rourke did for those students.

Ariel Patterson | I think Dean O'Rourke has made thoughtful use of her time as ad interim dean. She has made herself personally known to the student body as someone we can rely on to do what's best for the law school and the students. I specifically appreciate her push for increased loan forgiveness for graduates pursuing a career in public interest law. I think it would be a serious loss to BUSL to lose Dean O'Rourke.

Cliff Johnson | Dean O'Rourke has made this school a better place in a number of ways. Most importantly, she has made a commitment to creating a school that supports all of its students. Dean O'Rourke has sparked a public interest intiative that this school desperately needed. I must say that it was embarassing to see how lacking our public interest resources were at this school compared to other similarly situated schools and Dean O'Rourke has put us on track to eliminate that gap. The student body is the core of a good law school and Dean O'Rourke is not only available and interested in the students, but she actually does what she can to alleviate student concerns, which is a very rare characteristic in a dean. She has acted for us and it is time we do the same in support of her interests.
