I got a mac code on the 8.4.2008 to move to BT after threatening redten by email and phone. my redten account cancelled from 16.4.2008. now chasing clode to be released for their joint breach. exploring ways of taking them to court especially clode.

I have received the laptop but the broadband itself has never worked since signing up in December despite my best efforts to communicate this with RedTen. Also, I paid up-front >£700 so I am very worried - I now just want my money back!!

170 ian redfernI have siffered from loss of service from 10th MArch to 19th March and now have had my service severlely degraded as I have exceeded an upload limit on my contracted UNLIMIYED service, I am now having to use a dial up connection for e-mail and internet banking. I have been unable to contact RedTen despite several calls to an Indian call centre at 50 pence per minute NJP Services have been unable to help in any way. The Redten sales number just has music on hold and I have had no response to any e-mails. I am also unable to get a MAC code to change ISP.

173 Alistair MunroRBB100030 - Red Ten Customer since October 2006. This company has been a sham since it's inception. The PC's it sent out were poor quality, and getting them fixed near impossible. I had to sue them to get them to supply the free Vista upgrade and £20 free software offer they advertised. It came as no surprise that the didn't pay their BT Wholesale bill and had to go to a bargain bucket ISP to keep afloat. In my opinion, Clode are a bunch of craven cowards who should be drummed out of business along with Red Ten. Over 150 customers signing a petition does strongly suggest there are serious problems with these companies, and the credit and communications industry regulators need stronger powers to deal with these cowboys.

179 Gordon WilliamsIts all been said. Redten is what was once described as The "unacceptable face of capitalism" taken to the extreme they have shown utter contempt for customers and even more so for the so called regulators such as Ofcom .

181 AnonymousI have been without a broadband connection since march and have had no luck contacting redten. They haven't replied to any of my emails and the only number to call is the 50p a minute so-called Broadband Support line which wasn't at all helpful.

183 Anonymousi lost my broadband on 2ND JANUARY --28 APRIL.2008.in that time i sent 40 emails+2 recorded delivery letters+£15.00 of phone calls.+249.99 to run my daily business on orange P.A.Y.G.lots of letters to clode +phone calls just as bad as redten.stopped payments in march.had 3 letters asking for money.no responce to my request mac code and to pay my bills incurred

185 Peter WilsonExtremely slow speeds, to the point of being unusable, cannot get email, this started 24th May 2008, when I contacted Support (premium rate number) I was told I had been capped due to overuse of a 5Gb limit (I am paying for unlimited) and my speed would be reduced until the beginning of the next month. It is now 14th June and after many phone calls to both Redten and Clode Finance nothing has changed and the service is unusable. I have been promised that this is going to be resolved by a specialised team set up at Clode and a letter explaining what has happened was supposed to have been sent to all customers last week... again nothing has happened. Surely this is illigal! we are all paying for a service which is not being provided over an extended period. Redten are also, as far as I can see are in breach of their own terms and conditions, as it clearly states that if there is any change to the service from them then they would contact the customer by email to offer options, this for me has never happened. Also it does indicate that any capping would only occur during peak hours. Not only is this not true in my case, but I appear to be still capped even though I am now into a new month.

195 GeoffLooks like the RedTen site has finally folded. How do you get rid of the default Home page? And the RedTen screen at start-up? I would have liked a bit more notice from BT that they were going to cut RedTen's customers off. I could easily have missed the limited opportunity to change the MAC.
