| 553 | Steve | Jsteven82@hotmail.com | Fight the Power! Without grass roots efforts the Progressive Talk format will never survive! Keep fighting the Corporations! |
| 554 | Micheal Loisi | mike928@comcast.net | Keep it on the air. We need stations like you to tell us the real truth. |
| 555 | John Butler | jb9322@aol.com | There seems to be a concerted effort to remove progressive talk radio from the nation's airwaves. I know the the residents from Phoenix, Az were eventually successful getting liberal talk radio back in their city and more recently the listners in Madison, WI did the same. Now that the Democrats have the majority in both houses of Congress a new fairness doctrine must be adopted to prevent a return of only conservative radio talk shows in our nation, which will have devastating effect on our democracy! |

| 557 | Chris Borland | chrisrb@sonic.net | Progressive Talk is the hot new radio format, and Dallas deserves to be included!
Don't leave out North Texas!
There are more than enough conservative talkers already on the air -- support the American ideal of a balance of ideas, and bring back Progressive Talk Radio to the millions of progressive listeners in the North Texas area.
Progressives buy as much as conservatives do! But NO ONE MARKETS TO PROGRESSIVES ON THE RADIO IN NORTH TEXAS!!!
Why is this???
Does it make any sense to ignore half the population when making marketing and station format decisions?
Common sense says NO -- it doesn't!
BRING BACK PROGRESSIVE TALK IN DALLAS!!!
Thank you. |

| 560 | Brenda Miller | bmcom@gis.net | Progressive voices and all voices should be heard on our public airways. I support bringing Air America Radio back to North Texas and to ensuring that it remains in other cities, regions and states across these United States.

| 561 | Ernest Jones | edj11@yahoo.com | I believe we need another voice in our area. One that opposes the war powers abuse of our president would be a good choice. |
| 562 | Doug Zimmerman | dgzmmrmn@yahoo.com | What the heck is this a banana republic? The party in power loses an election and the opposition's megaphone is taken away. Supply, in effect, creates demand when 95% of talk radio is from one political side. More people use talk radio as their primary news source than any other media outlet. As a truck driver, I listen to Air America many hours a day when I can and patronize advertisers when possible. |
| 563 | Paul M. Brady | pbrady73@charter.net | we want air america BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| 564 | Julia Chase | jchase4@juno.com | Progressive radio is helping educate Americans. We really need to hear diverse perspectives and more facts and history. Keep AA on the air in Texas and everywhere! |

| 566 | Anonymous | Anonymous | Progressive policies and radio are supported by the majority of citizens. We, who own the air waves, demand and deserve a voice everywhere in this country. |

| 570 | Mark Matteson | mark_matteson@harvard.edu | In solidarity from Boston, where the Evil Empire flipped our station during the holiday break with virtually no warning (if there was a blurb in the local papers, it must've been pretty dang small). |

| 575 | Anonymous | Anonymous | It's too bad that a lot of people already think Texans are ignormat. To take away an informative and intelligent format for debate, disagreement and discussion further proves the point. I hope for your sake, you reinstate Progressive Talk. The country is under attack from a Wacko from your state, I'd thnk you'd do everything possible to distance yourself from him. Anyway, bring it back, get some intelligence. |

| 578 | Jonathan Ledbetter | jonathan.ledbetter@gmail.com | There needs to be alternative viewpoints on the airwaves. If we can prevail in the heart of Texas, there's nobody that can stop us. Stop the conservative monopoly of the airwaves, as they belong to the public. Instead of "Talk radio for the rest of us," the slogan should be "Talk radio for the MAJORITY of us." |

| 582 | Amy Cherrie | Talk@CherrieHomes.com | |
| 583 | Sally Mayer | jgrafx@theworld.com | A Bostonian's condolences to my fellow and sister deprived liberal radio fans in Columbus, OH. We now know after delving into the cause of this debacle on-line what brought down public radio in Boston: our outgoing Governor Mitt Romney and his takeover thugs at (his own founded) Bain Capital, a private investment corporation which bought out the Texas-based Clear Channel Communications Parent Company on November 16, 2006. Google for: "'Mitt Romney' and 'Clear Channel Communications, Inc.'" to collect the damning evidence for your own corroborative web research. The evidence is very compelling and damning. If you go to the Bain website and review the senior managers there and look up their backgrounds, they all have strong connections to the GOP (many are major donors) and to BushCo. This was not just one in a number of arbitrary and anonymous corporate buyouts for profit, this is part of a concerted rightie effort to grab control of web providers, radio stations, and any other media outlets of a liberal slant that contributed to patriotic American voters of all political persuasions being informed, getting out to vote, and putting many state and federal corrupt neocon GOP politicians out of office after the mid-term elections of November 7, 2006. Immediately afterwards, the righties (no doubt egged on by Karl Rove and his evil henchmen under the watchful eye of BushCo) began an hysterical flurry of leveraged buyouts of any liberal media outlets they could get their hands on, particularly in liberal blue states. In Boston, the raiders are attempting to get their claws on our newspapers and local ISPs. Refuse and resist! Strike back at these corporate thugs through the new power we have as of today via our recent state and federal elections. Write your federal reps and senators, your state reps and senators, the IRS, the Department of the Treasury, the FTC, and the FCC. If you or anyone else owns stock in Clear Channel Communications, sell it NOW! Give them a huge stock market price meltdown today they will never forget! If anyone invests with any of the guilty corporate raiders involved (Bain Capital, Thomas Lee Partners, Brookside Capital, Sankay Advisors, etc.), close out your accounts and dump them today! Boycott any company that advertises with Clear Channel Communications; hit them in the pocketbook where it hurts! Demand anti-Trust investigations of soon to be presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who in effect would be guilty of self-dealing if investigations show he was involved in the purposeful demise or Air America and other liberal media outlets in Boston and elsewhere for political purposes while he was still in the position of Governor of Massachusetts: a clear violation of the impartial public interest of his position if true! Bombard all media outlets with this until they scream in agony. We patriotic Americans are in the battle of our lives for the preservation of the country of our founding fathers with a free press and a government that is accountable to We the People (not to a unitary executive dictator as BushCo wants it and not to a bunch of soulless corporations who don't pay their fair share of taxes or sacrifice their sons and daughters to war)! Go to it gang, and spread the good word that We the People have taken back OUR government this past November, and we are now taking back OUR airwaves! |
| 584 | Sue Cohen | suec716@yahoo.com | Dallas certainly has the popular supprot for freedom of speech and divergent points of view.
Stop beeing so narrow and greedy.
PROGRESSIVE RADIO IN DALLAS! |
| 585 | Renee | rsuchx@hotmail.com | Dear Dallas Air America, please don't shut out liberal talk radio here. We listeners are dedicated, patronize your advertisers, get you new advertisers and get great ratings too! Thank you for listening. |

Bring back progressive talk to the Dallas (and Boston) areas. |
| 590 | Kathryn Woods | lamere5@verizon.net | The American listening audience can no longer sit and wait for things to happen. I live in the vast wasteland of Houston. I can listen online or in the car on XM radio. Texas needs to join the rest of the country. |

| 592 | H S | salieray95@yahoo.com | Bring back progressive radio station programming in Dallas, in Columbus and Cincinnati Ohio, and in Boston! You clearly have an audience, a need, and the ability. What's stopping you? Get moving and do it! |
