| 2 | Jeff Cordero | I’m familiar with this dangerous merge, going both ways; one single inattentive moment with a motorist will cost you your life.
Extremely dangerous! |
| 3 | Zack Simkover | This truely is a dangerous merge area. Motorists driving at high speeds pose a serious threat to unprotected cyclists trying to enjoy a bike ride up Pacific Coast Highway. |

| 6 | Anonymous | I am NOT a resident of Del Mar but cycle regularly through there. You need to do more to protect us from the dangers described above. The current situation is not acceptable. |

| 34 | Joy Muehlenbein | San Diego resident /cyclist and witness to several near-miss collisions at this dangerous intersection. |
| 35 | Jonathan Jefferson | Lets make Del Mar saver. Del Mar can afford to make this chance due the parking revenue they demand ALL year! |

| 38 | Philip Coan | I find drivers to be quite courteous at this merge and want to thank them for that. That said it is a very dangerous and scary manuever. |

| 41 | Karam Gill | I ride through there regularly. I agree that it is especially dangerous since the cyclist are going slowly uphill while the cars are approaching 40mph. The merge lane itself is also very sudden, with the merging lane joining the main road very quickly. This forces cyclists to cut sharply across the merging lane so they are not in the path of the merging vehicles. |

| 44 | Victoria du Roure | This is a very difficult merge. The cars coming up the ramp are generally going very fast and it is quite difficult to look almost completely behind you to see what is coming at that speed. If they were going slower or made aware of the cyclists it would be much safer. |
