I went to my husbands doctor because the person who did my stapling thought I was crazy and not following my diet. After over a year of different tests I was given a tentative diagnosis of Cushings and went to U of M for a check-up. Dr. Steinghart confirmed the diagnosis and I had my surgery in 1990. No one in upper MI knew what Cushings is and I feel that people should become more aware of this disease. |
