And they cuffed me behind my back. which is painful when they pull your arm out of its socket (and im not joking, i had to go to the hospital after wards) and I was forced to take a rape kit, or else my friend would be arrested as well for statutory rape without any evidence (we were in the car, with the windows rolled down, talking) they swabbed the car as well. and without my consent or my mothers consent, they had a doctor do a rape kit on me. they said it was for my protection. but my question is, if it is for my protection, why am i being arrested. I was not doing anything illegal, was carrying nothing illegal, and no one in the car was doing anything illegal. So, the law makes no sense. another arrest that i got for curfew violation (which is what got me into more trouble this time) I was staying with my cousin at his house (he is 19 years old) and him and some friends wanted to go out and get a late night snack. I didnt feel comfortable staying in a house alone, with a bunch of guys i didnt know, so i went with them. so i got arrested, for being with my cousin, in the car, going to wendys. now tell me how thats protecting me if i was with my cousin, and not in a house with a bunch of older ppl. The guys all got arrested too.....for being in the car with me. I WAS WITH MY COUSIN. DOING NOTHING ILLEGAL. AND 5 PEOPLE GOT ARRESTED FOR IT. now you show me how this is fair, and i will have no problem with paying my court costs. |

We deliver the Columbus Dispatch from 3am to just after 6am daily and midnight to 8am Sundays. But with the new curfew law for Columbus on June 5 2008 "Coleman announced that beginning June 5, children found out past midnight will be taken to a drop-off center at the YMCA where parents can pick them up. The first offense will require parents and children to attend a three-hour workshop. Children with a second offense must perform community services. Additional curfew violations may lead to misdemeanor charges against both the children and the parents." (http://www.10tv.com/live/content/local/stories/2008/03/14/stateofcity.html?sid=102) She will be convicted of a crime for doing our job and trying to get money back set back to support our selfs. Washington Court House City Schools in southern Ohio already put her threw so much pain and hardship and harassment enofe to have her sign out. So to me this fells like another way of the system trying to bring the pore working class group down. She isn't out causing any trouble what so ever just trying to get money to get back into school so now after June 5th just trying to make money to survive and be able to pay for classes to get a ged she will be seen as a criminal. Her mother knows where she is at and is happy she is taking the initiative to better her life and get a good start. I also know of a lot of people who are under the age of 18 who help out a older brother or sister with running a rout to bring money home to help the family in this dire time with the economy falling apart. But will be treated the same as a trouble maker running the streets causing trouble. |

Just have them give you an explanation and if you arent convinced call their guardians to confirm what they said. That way they do take the real BAD guys and let the GOOD ones have some safe fun with their friends. Just a thought since i think that it will be so hard to get them to retreive that law.
