| 1553 | Roy Henderson | As a lifelong Dundee United fan, I can honestly say I feel as proud of Levein for speaking as he did as I have of any member of our staff over the years.
What happened on Saturday was an utter disgrace, perpetuated by Gordon Smith in his comments yesterday. I hope Dundee United stand firm on this issue, and as for threats from Rangers supporters to boycott Tannadice, that's good news in my view. The ground would only be filled by other arabs and no doubt by interloping Celtic fans coming to put the pressure on their Glasgow rivals.
It's time for Scottish football's provincial clubs to take a stand against the establishment. Corruption has been exposed in Italy and France at an institutional level, and there's little doubt that, while no allegations of corruption can formally be made here, there's something rotten in the state of Denmark, and there has been for longer than I care to remember.
McCurry has disgaced himself but sadly he's not alone, and this issue isn't just faced at Ibrox, but just as regularly at Parkhead - just not to as blatant an extent.
All the best to Craig Levein in this - don't pay the fines, don't apologise, and stick to your guns. We're behind you 100%.

| 1554 | Mandi Thomas | The ref should be punished imo! cost Dundee utd the game |

| 1557 | phil mulligan | craig levein was absolutley right in his comments, 1 goal disallowed, 1 penalty denied and both weir and cousin should have been sent off, hand rangers the league title now because it is turning into a sham |

| 1559 | Stephen Woolfries | It's called freedom of speach. With so much at stake and the nature of the decisions it is understandable why he reacted the way he did. |
| 1560 | Claire A A Eadie | CL's was spot on - finally someone has the balls to stand up to these crettins! |
| 1561 | Michael Glenn | |
| 1562 | Stacey | Mr Levein is simply stating what the majority think - majority barr Rangers supporters.
I think that, the fact that the SPL allow a member of the Masonic lodge to referee such high importance games is a joke. |
| 1563 | Charles Kerr | |
| 1564 | Stephane Coyle | I am a celtic fan and i think its unfair how the non old firm teams in scotland are treated in regards to referee decisions during games. Referees will always favor the old firm when playing at home to prevent trouble with such large crowds, whether they are bias or not. Saturdays decisions were plantly wrong!! at the expense of a uefa cup place for Dundee Utd. Folk might think i'm expressing these views purely because it would have been a benefit to my team for Rangers to drop points, but i acknowledge that recently their has been decisions which have went in our favor ie Aberdeen goal marked off-side, being awarded corner at Motherwell which lead to a goal. My point is neather side of the old firm should receive special or bias treatment from referee's, it would make for a much more interesting competition if all teams were given equally fair decisions. I'm quite sure then it wouldn't only be the old firm fighting for the the top spots!! Well done to Craig Levein for speaking out about the situation. Now the SFA need to do something about it!! |
| 1565 | Liam Mccafferty | |
| 1566 | Cliff Anyon | So good to hear a manager not scared to voice his opinion on this issue. For years and years the authorities have looked after rangers.About time something was done about it. |
| 1567 | nige | Will McCurry also admit he is an Ibrox Seaseon Ticket Holder?? :o) |
| 1568 | Fergal Gallanagh | Why is it "unacceptable" to claim a ref can cheat ? They obviously do. |
| 1569 | Drew Main | Fifers always stick together! |
| 1570 | Dr Jim Hamill | Well done Craig for speaking out so honestly and making it public what we have always known - especailly being brave enough to say that it was NOT the Old Firm you were talking about but rather Rangers |
| 1571 | Anne Marie McLaughlin | You could forgive mccurry for missing one incident but 4 is disgraceful and yes Gordon smith it does suggest he has an agenda as many fans have been thinking for a while. Well done craig levein, you had the guts to say what had to be said but know doubt the muppets that are in charge of the SFA/spl will sweep it under the carpet and hammer levein. After all we are all paranoid. |
| 1572 | Kevin Cloherty | He just said what needed to be said. Good on him, standing his ground.
No crime against freedom of speech!!! |
| 1573 | Anonymous | Please put an end to these endless discussions and sort out these biased decisions that have long afflicted Scottish Football |

| 1575 | steven donnelly | this will become a watershed moment.
I give him my full support |
| 1576 | David Thomline | Levein, Zander diamond and the Romanovs are only saying what everyone is thinking, it's been going on for decades and something has to be done |

| 1580 | Billy Hamilton | Oh for more mangers like him to stand up and say how we all feel about the lily livered, biased approach in favour of Rangers. Mr. McCurry has plenty previous of this type. Surely the Managers are in a Union and can collectively voice their opinions without recourse. |
| 1581 | JIm Gardiner | The inability of some referees not be influenced or intimidated by "old firm " crowds has been a sore in Scottish football for a long time. It is high time it was brought to the fore and craig is to be congrstulated on doing so. |
| 1582 | Anonymous | Good on yi craigy
Get intae thum
About time somebody had the balls to stand up and be counted against sfa and the old firm
We've had this biased shit for years, lets get it sorted.
Craig Levein for SFA president |
| 1583 | James Martin Clark | About time a neutral voice was heard on this issue who didn't resort to the tired and cliched "Old Firm get everything" party line. |
| 1584 | Kenneth Mackay Reid | Terrible decisions for Scottish Football yet again. Video evidence is the only answer and will a!so put a stop to players thinking they can get away with it. This will add time to matches but there may be a lot less vital decisions going astray. |
| 1585 | Mark Lee | What Hearts have been saying all along ... it's not a level playing field. |
| 1586 | James Connolly | Support this petition...refs should take thier sashes off prior to refereeing |
| 1587 | Jim Quinn | I believe that it´`s now patently obvious that the ´SPL,SFA,the players union representative and certain referees, chosen to officiate at crucial matches this season, are in collusiun with rangers F.C.to ensure that they win a massively tainted championship this year. All those involved should be forced to resign in shame but I won`t be holding my breath in anticipation of sutch an outcome. |
| 1588 | Chris Fleming | |
| 1589 | Anonymous | I think it is about time that the SFA stopped giving into the muscle of Rangers & Celtic and put the good of Scottish football at the forefront of their minds. |
| 1590 | Exiled Dundee United fan | The only person facing disciplinary action should be Mike McCurry. For the umpteenth time he has shown himself incapable of impartiality when it comes to officiating in rangers matches. As for Gordon Smith...well what do you expect from an ex-rangers player? The whitewash of the whistleblower webpage won't wash anymore, change is needed and it will come! |
| 1591 | Damian Reilly | Well done to Craig Levin for naming names. |
| 1592 | William Little | Why don't the SFA use English or Welsh referees for all Rangers and Celtic matches, that way there would be little chance of a referee who supported an old firm team, being seen in the public eye as a cheat. The same thing happened to Hearts v Rangers at Tynecastle when a ludicrious penalty was given by a lineman, this resulted in Rangers winning the league. Looks like it's happening all over again and the SFA expect paying supporters just to accept their rulings. Come on Gordon Smith get your house in order. |
| 1593 | William Little | |
| 1594 | James Wilson | Craig Levein was absolutely correct. It is about time, just because they have all the money, Celtic and Rangers should not be allowed to win everything. The Specsaver Of The Year Award should go to Magoo McCurry. |
| 1595 | Sean Harkin | The refs performance was terrible. The Sinister Minister. |
