It is our job to preserve and protect our history. How could anyone in their "right" mind (Senator Yee) even consider this!!!!!! |

Mary Lisa Walsh | The SF area needs the Cow Palace. SF does not have enough event space with PARKING to lose the Cow Palace.
Andrea Mann | Please respect and preserve the history and future of the Cow Palace.

Todd Kassel | I urge you to oppose SB568 (Yee). This hastily amended bill is hurtful to thousands of California citizens, will cost jobs and will destroy a valuable and critical resource for future generations. Thank you!

Raina Woolfolk | This is unconscionable. This bold faced betrayal of an agreed upon compromise that would allow for much needed retail business to co-exist with the historic landmark, The Cow Palace will not go uncontested. How insignificant do you think your constituents are? We will do everything within our voting power and with the use of our tax paying dollars as well as our voices to stop Senator Yee and Governor Arnold Swarzenegger from sneaking their own agendas into bill SB586. Shame upon their offices for trying to manipulate a bill that has already been reviewed and agreed upon. Sincerely, Raina Woolfolk

Janet Rathmell | The Cow Palace, in addition to being an historic site, hosts many important events each year. It is a venue with ample parking and space for major exhibits like the Golden Gate Kennel Show, The Flower Show, The Home Show and others too numerous to mention. I have gone to shows here for the past 60 years and fine it convenient as well as large enough to host the huge crowds that attend these events. My family is one of many who urge you to conserve the Cow Palace for the many who enjoy the numerous uses of this grand place. So many other venues have shut--this is one of the few large auditoriums left in Northern California. The Bay Area needs this magnificent facility, in tact.
Gretchen Heinrich | Please remember the vital role the Cow Palace plays in providing a venue for educational, cultural, and entertainment activities. It is also a vital component in disaster relief efforts, being one of the very few locations in San Francisco that can provide adequate space and accesss.
Belinda Hutchings
Monika Stachon | It is entirely foolish and short-sighted to be selling state assets at fire sale prices, especially assets that are being run in a fiscally sound fashion and are not a drain on state resources.

Catherine Art
Emma Taylor | The cow palace is a wonderful place!!! I go there every year with my lab to the Golden gate kennel club dog show!! It would be a huge loss for San francsico
Lisa Kehe | I cannot believe that the State would let such a wonderful, historical place go! I have written letters on more than one occassion and will continue to do so because I feel very strongly that the Cow Palace is a cultural icon and it is worth saving!!!!
Tami Shaw | I do not want the Cow Palace sold. The Cow Palace venue brings in much needed revenue to the City. With power shortages and water shortages, plus the bad economy, we do not need more housing. More housing=more energy crisis and water shortage.
