AnonymousIt's a shame that they trying to take down the Cow Palace, to help only a small group of shelfish investor, that only think about the "Money" and everything else is nothing for them, I beet if they try to do something similar to them, they won't be happy,.

Sandra HandleySenator Yee, Shame on you! The Cow Palace is enjoyed by many - from children to adults. I have attended the rodeo, the flower show, the circus, the boat show, a motorcyclcle show, the dog show, etc. Please use some of the land for retail stores for many, many people living in the area - all the way from the new homes by Guadalupe Parkway to our older homes in Visitacion Valley. ---long time resident of Visitacion Valley and 30 year resident of San Francisco--- Sandra Handley
Maryann PorterfieldThe Cow Palace is absolutely essential to save. i have attended events there for 65 years. These have included ice hockey games, iceskating extravaganzas, SF Flower Shows, and many cattle shows and more. Greed always raises its ugly head.
Patricia A Connelly RN DCIt 's a local treasure, The Cow Palace, and we could never duplicate it's splendor and potential.
AnonymousI am a native San Franciscan and I vehemently oppose the destruction of another landmark. We don't need more condos- we need to preserve the history of our beloved city.

Catherine RossmanI have been attending and participating in the Golden Gate Kennel Club show at the Cow Palace for over 25 years. Before that I attended the Grand National Livestock Exhibition for many years and the Junior Grand National as well. I can't imagine Geneva Avenue without this facility. I worked and lived in that area for 10 years and saw 3 major grocery chains fail in that location and I don't believe it was caused by the presence of the Cow Palace facility.

AnonymousPease continue to preserve our cowboy culture !
AnonymousSenator Yee, The Cow Palace is a historical link to California's agricultural past. It needs to stand to remind the children that their dinner does not come from a supermarket. Let it stand and continue to host agricultural events and displays. It is truly an EDUCATIONAL facility for all disconnected with the bread basket of the world.

Bryan DoyleI have been going to The Cow Palace for years to see the Grand National Rodeo (PBR) and that tradition can not end just because the city of Daly City can benefit slightly from the sale of this property.

kay waltersThe COW PALACE is one of the last benues in California to showcase AGRICULTURE which is the very basic industry of life. We need more emphasis on agriculture than we need more condos.

Corden JacobsonHow many other buildings on earth had John Kennedy, Elvis Presley and the Beatles inside? The Cow Palace is a beautiful work of art. Please do not tear it down. Ever.
Dave KingDo not exchange history for money
ethanCondo developers go home, there's a great piece of history here that is still being used. Let it be.
Leah StruzzieriSave the Cow Palace!
Jennifer BarbeeAs an avid equestrian growing up on the east coast, it was my dream to show English at Madison Square Garden and Western at the Cow Palace. This is a vital national treasure and should not be closed or modified to exclude livestock activities. Thank you.
AnonymousNeil Young - Live Rust is all you need to know. Many other classical performers who played at the cow have become legends. The Palace is a historical landmark.

AnonymousI don't want the Cow Palace to be destroyed for space for condos or anything else. I am 62 yrs old this month and was raised in San Francisco. My childhood was more delightful for having this special place to go to with my father. This facility means so much more to people who live here. I can see that people can find housing anywhere, but the historical places where families and friends can find entertainment locally is dwindling. If we don't keep something of our heritage now, we will having nothing left to leave our children and our society that tells them about the past, help them to enjoy the present, and keep the traditions and culture for the future. What would more cement and profits in some developers pocket mean to us? Nothing. It would look like the same old stuff all around. Kill the bill that would destroy the Cow Palace and all of us.
Sharon DiercksPlease save this area for the whole Bay area to use.
Diana GroggHistoric landmarks are disappearing right and left. 13 acres of land should be enough to add more commerce and jobs to a neighborhood community, while sharing that space with a piece of the history that has built that community in the first place. Save this space, renovate and bring back the shows that bring more custom to the surrounding area. have a marketing team that sells more shows to be held there and there again bring more custom to the surrounding area. This makes more sense than just tearing it down and putting in yet another strip mall. As a tourist, I visit a place to see the historic sites, not to visit strip malls.
