Jerry A. TurnerThis is bad policy and bad government in its purest form, do not sell the Cow Palace!
Ric Furner
Larry TeheroThe Cow Palace is the "Icon" of event centers on the west coast and is a special destination that thousands of people look forward to visiting every year. I am a San Francisco bay area native and have been attending special events, concerts, etc at the Cow Palace for over 50 years. It's history and personna ad to any event that takes place there. To lose it would be like cutting down "Old Growth Redwood Trees". Once they are gone they can't be replaced! "Save The Cow Place"
Julie KatawiczLet's Save Cow Palace it means a lot to a lot of people. It provides more good to the community just the way it is than a low end condo complex!!
DON EVANSplease save the cow palace in the future & for many many years to come, thanks to all !
Tina HilbertThe Cow Palace has been around for years. I have show hogs and cattle there before and hope to one day again. I go to Cow Palace every year to enjoy the fun and plan to again.
Durk van den BergThe Cow Palace is for all people in the Bay Area, not just for some developers to make a lot of money in a short time. More foreclosings in the future?
Angela BarraganSenator Lee you should really think about the biggest mistake you would have to live with. The Cow Palace is a special place. Leave it alone!!!

Paul MachadoThis is such a historial building and an asset to California and the Bay Area residents that it would be a shame to lose the Cow Palace for one cities gain. Save the Cow Palace, not only for us that have used it in the past and currently, but for future generations. As a gathering place for the many events held each year and its emmense size not readily available elsewhere. Whether used as an agricultural, sports, gardening or entertainment venue its use is broad based and an asset to everyone. Save the Cow Palace!
Malina DunkThe Cow Palace is an historic venue, and important monument to the past, and a useful venue for the future. Don't let greed and mindless development ruin this important building and piece of Bay Area history.
Briana StroudI have been showing horses at the Cow Palace since 1989 and have won numerous championships there. The competition was always tough and it was always a fun place to show. We also attend numerous non-livestock events here and enjoy the layout, atmosphere, etc. It would be a very sad day if the Cow Palace were turned into another shopping center or strip mall.
Lorry TibbettsThis building and grounds have historical value. Have you been in this area outside of Cow Palace this is a bad neighborhood. Do not sell this to big time developers or anyone else. Keep Cow Palace alive and well. It should be on the Histrical Registration for how and why it was built. Yes it can use updating but then who does not. This is about greed of those who wants to pass this bill and or sell the 13 acres. This is about what they will get if they make it possible ($$$$$). Lease the 13 acres and let it earn money to keep Cow Palace up to date and so on. Lease the 13 acres do not sell it. Read your History on Cow Palace many people worked on it and earned a living.

Drew FreemanThe second time I was in San Francisco I sat for my California state pharmacist board examination. I took a week off from work and made a special point to see all the things that I missed on my honeymoon. My wife and I drive around for about two and a half hours looking for the darned Cow Palace. We took pictures because it is such a famous place and the people in the box office were nice enough to let me peak inside. It would be such a shame to see a piece of San Francisco history were destroyed. I've been so fortunate over the years to see buildings that have been torn down or destroyed, I have a sense of history now and I identify the Cow Palace just as much the landmark as the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcaztaz Prison. Thank you for caring.

Kenneth V. ShattockI was born in Oakland and have lived in the Bay Area most of my life. I have fond memories of attending MANY events at the Cow Palace. I have more memories of 'seeing' events at the Cow Palace on TV. There is really NO place in the Bay Area that can properly HOST events of the magnitude that the Cow Palace has hosted for so many, many years. My Brother and his wife met each other for the first time, by singing in the choir of the 1958 Billy Graham Crusade at the Cow Palace. They have now been married 50 years!! PLEASE don't tear down a historic Bay Area landmark such as the Cow Palace. It holds so many memories for so many thousands of people. Thank you for your consideration.
AnonymousPlease save the Cow Palace. If anything, it should definitely be considered a Landmark!
AnonymousI have been going to the rodeo at the Cow Palace since I was a kid. I was hoping that my children would be able to experience the same wonderful memories at the rodeo as I had as a kid. I would hate to see anything else on there other then what is there now!! Please don't take the Cow Palace a way from us.

Cathy MeehaPlease let the Cow Palace stay. First they take away Bay Meadows and now the Cow Palace. Where will it be next?
AnonymousDo not sell our public land!!!
Sean Smyth
AnonymousIf you sell all the public land that has been used for events? What are you going to do when they are all gone? Stay home? Save the Cow Palace and bring back some of the events that made it famous...or how about even having some new ones?
Anonymousthank you for making this such a big effort!
AnonymousPlease save the Madison Square Garden of the West from getting developed. We all know whatever is placed on the site will not stand the test of time like the COW Palace and eventually be turned in to high priced condos. Let America keep some of real culture!
MirandaKeep the cow palace...It's history...Three generations of my family have been going to the cow palace for many different events!!!! SAVE THE COW PALACE!!!!!!

Michelle WindellI would never buy a condo near the Sunnydale projects, but I would always go to events at the Cow Palace!
Tomas R. AranaSAVE THE COW PALACE!! It's been a safe gathering place for my friends to meet and make new ones! Don't touch this wonderful location for it stand for something more than just venue but a safe haven for those who need to get away for a night!
georgia babasave the venue. it has more historical value than any 'strip mall' if anything one could capitalize on the historical value of the site and make it more appealing...
AnonymousAll the kids love the Christmas Carousel!
