Nichole & Debbie | Please bring KZLA 93.9 back to Los Angeles. We already have radio stations like the one that took over KZLA. We need atleast one Country Station! Please!
Michelle Fryer | Orange County, CA needs a radio station like KZLA 93.9 back!!! I no longer listen to the radio... only my country CD's I hate the format 93.9 took
Anonymous | we needed rick deez back and movin 93.9 like we needed a hole in our heads. Counrty music deserves a home in southern california
Patricia Jacobsen | Get rid of the "radio station czars" that pulled the best station on the air for many, many years: KZLA. I, and many others do not like the discrimination displayed by forcing good, honest, decent music to be replaced by racially motivated garbage music.
Betsy |
Victoria O | Bring COUNTRY BACK!
michelle harlow | I will permanently program any station that will start playing country music. Currently I am not a "listner" of any station. Someone must want my loyalty,

Nancy Alberino | It's time to bring country radio back to New York City and Long Island. We can listen online or to satellite radio, but the lack of a commercial country station is hurting new country artists and their fans. We need more new country concerts in our area now!

Anonymous | You are ignorant to say you have no respect for one of America's most honest / respectable icons; Mr. Rick Dees - you need to write to sponsers of country music to request that L.A. needs and should have a country radio station.
Kelly Morr | Country is just one of the genres I like... I miss it on my radio!
Marisa Morales | WE WANT COUNTRY MUSIC BACK IN LA. WHAT WE REALLY DONT NEED IS MORE POP!!! PLEASE BRING BACK OUR COUNTRY

Loa Griffith | I feel as though I lost part of my family. KZLA got me through all the tough times, like 9/11. It wasn't just about the music, but the DJs as well. If I watched something on TV at night, I could always count on a discussion about it in the morning on my way to work. I listened all day long, I will do anything I can to get them back. Let's all pitch in out money and buy our own station. I know it's been awhile, but just can't let it go. The other station, KFROG, sounds so redneck and hokie. KZLA had class.
Curt Kisner | Country on the AM dial ok still not the same when your limited on reception.
Sharon Gray | I've listened to KZLA since the day they replaced KLAC, Now I am lost without them. LA needs a country station. How can raise our kids on the Rap/Junk on the other stations in LA. Have to admit, my son is learning the oldies now, they are the only thing worth listening to.
Jeremy Trudeau | Bring KZLA back, LA/Orange County doesn't need another "Pop" station!!
Lisa Baumer | I can't believe that I do not have a country station to listen to on my drive to and from work!! I know there is a market for it... another pop station, we don't need!
Melissa | Bring back the Country!
Anonymous | I love all types of music. please bring some country back
Jennifer McFadden | Please bring country back to LA!!!
Andrew Kozik |

Aimee Gibbs | Please bring back our local radio family!
Ed Frost | Los Angeles Needs Country Music Badly it Is dull With Out It No soul.
Kevin Greening | I would like to see a country radio station come back to LA
Connie Gutierrez-Jenkins | Come on, people. What happened to you? Rick Dees has seen his day. He's old stuff. A has been. The music this station is playing now is no different than what's being played on the other stations. Country music - KZLA - in particular, was at least different from the rest. Bring it back. If the argument is that county music is not drawing the attention of Hispanics, then just look at the list of petitioners on this list. Country music is Mexican/Hispanic music in English. Come on BIG BROTHER, PUT KZLA BACK ON THE AIR. Five months off the air is enough. People are still missing it. Still wanting it. Still needing it back.
Anonymous | I am bored the current radio stations, so I am relying on my cd's to get Country music. It is hard to believe that an area like LA there are no Country radio station.

Peggy Bruna | I miss listening to my local country station in the morning and on my drive home from work. I felt like I knew each of the DJ's on a personal level and when there was an upcoming concert we would go to the website to get tickets. The day they turned off KZLA I thought there was some mistake and all of our friends started calling us to see if we had heard anything at all. I am shocked that they haven't put it back on the air. We have always been huge KZLA fans and we know there are many many fans out there just like us. I hope more people take the time to sign the petition so we can have our country music back.

Anonymous | I was SHOCKED to get in my car after work one day where, when I got out of the car, I was listening to country music, and when I got back in it after 8 hours, I was hearing a commercial for the "resurrection of Rick Dees". You know, when there are many different radio stations playing the same crappy music, just why exactly do we need one more and the all to ridiculous cost of the one station that I don't mind my 14 and 9 year old nieces listing to. Come on! This "new" station is just another clone of every other "modern pop, R&B music" station in this city. Los Angeles is supposed to be an example of diversity, and yet these people who decided to "flip the format" are now telling us that we have to conform whether we like it or not. You have GOT to be joking. PUT KZLA BACK ON THE AIR AND GET THAT OTHER TURKEY OF A STATION MOVIN' OUTTA HERE!!!!!
Anonymous | I miss KZLA so much, I keep trying to find another good country station but I cant get good reception on any.
