| 1 | Shelley | Norman | TX | US | I am a remedial student and I am against the removal of funds to help me get off of governemnt assistance! When i went to school, this information was not required! Do Not allow removal of funds which may get me off welfare! I want to be self sufficient and not be a statistic! Without a Pell Grant, I am unable to go to school! |

| 4 | Cynthia | Osage | OK | US | I am also a student in Oklahoma, but I want everyone to know the importance of remedial classes everywhere! My husband has a Bachelors in Social Work, he graduated May 2000, he took remedial classes. My son is 19 and in his first year of College. He has to take remedial Math. It happens to the best of us, but I thank God that we have had the opportunity to be able to take it and get into College and work on our Careers. This will get us OFF of Government Assistance.
I hope my plea will be considered all over America. This is how we get people out of the system. TRAIN them.
Sincerely,
Cynthia Osage |

| 12 | Stacey | Schwendeman | TX | US | We need to make sure people have the tools they need to improve their lives. I support higher education for all people - all Americans. |
| 13 | Stephanie | Norman | TX | US | I am against any funding that excludes any race, color, sex or difference in individuals. This is sad! If we do not allow everyone to have fair and equal treatment, then it will eventually affect someone we love. This makes me mad! |

| 23 | Takesia | Kemper | TX | US | I am currently taking a remedial math course this semester. It is only because I did not pass the math part of the TASP. I know that is one of the main reasons why students are in that class. I can say that the class has help students to pass the math part of the TASP. If you do without this class, what else is there for us to do? Since that TASP is the only thing that can determine what classes we take, we need to keep the remedial classes. For some students its been quite some time, since the last time they have been in school. The remedial classes are like a refresher course for them, it helps them to get back in the hang of things. I love my teacher this semester, he has helped me out a great deal. I attend St. Philips College and my professors name is Seth Drake. It has been 4 years since I have been in school. Please reconsider this decision. Government funding is the only way I can pay for school. Thank you for your time. Takesia Kemper |
| 24 | Christopher | Kemper | TX | US | My wife is currently in a remedial math course. Its because she did not pass the math part of the TASP. Financial Aid is the only way she can continue her schooling. We can not afford to pay for her to go to school. Please do not let this decision go through. This class has helped her so much. Thank you.
