Jeff Phillips | Conrad Black can not continue to besmirch the good name, which is the Order of Canada. His Order of Canada must be rescinded, if it is not, it would be a travesty !!

in The Order Of Canada. |

Jonathan Vasil | If it were not for the criminal preceedings, he would spit in your face if you were to suggest that he regain his citizenship.
Matt Perry | He does not deserve the order of Canada, as proved by him turning his back on his homeland, save the honour of the order of Canada for true Canadians like Terry Fox.

connrad | he's gonna be sucking some big black cock in jail and be some nigger's faggot bitch
Shawn Harper | This man is not what Canadians are about , he is nothing more than a high priced thief with friends in the government. Canada is slowly crumbling when men like this are allowed to prosper.

Désirée McCaulsky | I hope the judge who sentenced him today has had the good sense to seize his passports...otherwise he may not turn up to start his prison sentence in March. He's hardly impoverished, even now... How many other convicted criminals get to have Christmas holidays with their families?
| 190 | Bill Pettersen | If David Ahenakew's order can be revoked before he has had the opportunity of justice running its' full course (appeals and all), the Conrad's can be revoked too ... BEFORE ANY APPEAL.
The mere conviction brings the Order of Canada into disrepute. Even if he wins, on appeal, he has still brought the order into disrepute and it should be revoked!
If David Ahenakew's order is revoked, but Conrad's isn't, it would be clear to me that the system is racist in favour of rich white guys! |
Michael Warren | If Canada is to maintain any honour in Her Majesty's Honours system, then Conrad Black should have his Order of Canada rescinded without any argument against.
Joseph Fosco | Unfortunately, I carry no weight in voting one way or the other on this matter, however, as Chairman of the ENVOY Committee, which governs Keys To The Vatican, I vehemently implore Canada to cease and desist in whatever process is working to rescind Lord Black’s status, and wait to see if Lord Black wins his appeal. Thank you, Joseph Fosco
Michael Warren |
Don Jamieson | The appeals are over. He's still guilty. I think the petition should have mentioned that he revoked his Canadian citizenship.
W. Iveson | Rescind his Order of Canada now that his appeal has been lost.
David Janeson |
Anonymous | I'm not really signing the petition - just trying to get onto the list to see how many people have signed it.
C. Usubiaga | Let's also revoke Lucien Larre's award while we are at it.
Lukas Drapal |
Leslie Perry | Conrad Black is demonstrably undeserving of the Order of Canada. He has been found guilty of serious crimes by a judge, jury and now an appeal court. Enough! How much proof do we need? If his order is not revoked it makes a mockery of the whole system.
