Concord Parents for Kindergarten Options

The petition

Concord Public Schools is considering a move to some version of a full-day and/or full-week kindergarten.

Please sign this petition if you are:

* A parent who would rather have the option of providing for your kindergartener in the afternoon;

* A parent who would welcome a full-day kindergarten for your child, but who also wishes other parents to have the option of half-days for their children, or;

* A Concord resident who believes that it will strengthen the Town and its Schools to provide this flexibility to parents.

In signing this petition, I affirm my support of those families who want to retain the option of a dedicated, fully-supported half-day kindergarten program in the Concord elementary schools.

Further, I urge the Concord Public School system to provide the community and School Committee with an array of kindergarten options, including a dedicated, fully-supported half-day program for parents who feel this is the best option for their children.
