| 2 | Rob Kamm | At first I thought this was goofy. Then I realized that it was brilliant, well reasoned and liable to cause an improvement in the national dialogue. Please, I don't like to beg anyone for anything save my wife, but please consider this idea. |
| 3 | Scott Price | What a fantastic idea. If moronic actors, muscleheads, and pro-wrestlers can become governors or presidents, then two intelligent comedians should be able to do a much better job. |

| 11 | cspan37421 | They certainly would be quicker on their feet in a debate than the last couple sacrificial lambs have been (though Bush would have been completely unarmed had he not had a radio feed for the right clever words, a la The Emperor's Club movie).
I think Colbert/Stewart or vv would appeal to the clever and cynical among us left of center, but probably not to the mainstream. Just a guess. |

| 13 | J. Alves | Sounds like a great idea. My only concern is: will they still make fun of the administration after they are elected? Because if they aren't then I don't know if it's worth it... |

| 33 | John Stamler | You have to run. It is your civic duty. It is a dirty duty, but Jon (with a newborn in the house) knows all about dirty duties. And Steven, you have so many friends at the correspondent's dinner that you would surely get enormous support. |
