Tammy Verellen | I don't think anyone should be bullyed into losing any of their land, their house, their farm, their past to present family business. This would only make it easier for people to drive faster, possibly cause more accidents(due to speed) and unfortunately more accidents means more deaths. I think they need to leave the people who help put food on their tables alone, and find something else to do with all their spare time. Leave the little people alone!!!

Anne Freeman | Farmlands and farm families are precious for our future. There has to be a better solution than this.

Katie Yantzi | I am strongly opposed to this idea. The farmland is valuable, and it is a solid part of the heritage of this area. Many people's livelihoods are at stake. That is more important than cars and pavement.
Trevor Hunsberger |
Monique Dobson | Losing any more valuable farm land to create additional roadways is simply not acceptable. That this is even being considered in an area which provides such valuable services to the community is incredibly wrong. I say a strong NO.
Alison DeNure |
Sylvia Berg | I have driven this road many time as I just moved here from Elmira and it has never been busy. Our hertiage is far more important than reducing travel times by a few minutes.

Garth Pilsworth | Well done, well needed!
Barbara and Henry Dobson | There is no need for altering the route Hwy 7and 8 takes from Kitchener to the most western exit for New Hamburg. If Stop signs are an issue within the New Hamburg precincts, bridges over the 7&8 would solve the problem. Proper entrances and exits for the rural roads would accommodate them without the huge swath that your proposals would take. The Victoria St. entrance/exit should be closed.

Beverly Neeb | We must immediately start thinking of transportation in a new way and paving over prime farmland is not the answer.
| 342 | Mary Lou Shantz | Why destroy more farm land, use the existing highway corridor that you have now and expand.
What are your priorities, nicer roads or to feed the nation. Think about it. |
Betty Orr |
Janna Lynn Cressman | Please do not disrupt the great soil south of the 7&8. There are areas where the land is not as productive.
Christopher Cressman | For me I grew up on the farm. The moment that you pave over this farm land you ruin some of the amazing growth that makes our land what it is. The area in question is just south of new hamburg it is the really good land. The land north of new hamburg is known as much crummer land and that should be used.
