Chinese New Year Holiday

Chinese New Year is a day when Chinese families and friends gather and celebrate. Many children don't go to school on this day to celebrate and they are excused by parents and teachers. There are other holidays that became official, for example, Rosh Hashana is an offical holiday. Sign this if you think Chinese New Year should be an offical holiday. Our first goal is to make it an offical holiday where schools closed in New York City. This petition will be sent to the Chancellor Joe Klein.
