In a state like Oregon where the labor force is so critical and, so much is required of it; take a good look at the Interstate project (IMAX), and how the labor force displayed a role that Mr. Chavez would have been proud of it.

This is a great change and it will breath new life into my North Portland neighborhood. I have been petitioning in my Overlook neighborhood and so far over 1/2 the people I have spoked to think this is a great change for our neighborhood. They were not even aware there was controversy. they ask me how could there be so much controversy about honoring a great American hero and civil rights/workers right organizer.

Our neighborhood is enriched by the cultural diversity and richness brought by our Latino neighbors, and our entire country was enriched by the work of Cesar Chavez. This is a fitting tribute to a great leader.
