| 51 | Kenneth Spedding | I totally agree with the objection - the LAST thing central Maidenhead needs is another office block - look at the hidious concrete skelton on the ring road! What do this say about the town? |

| 54 | Anonymous | There is far too manyempty offices already and I would much rather see this area used as a recreational waterway and town centre amentity.
The cinema was a white elephant and if this goes through the developers will get what they always wanted albeit 20 years later. |

| 60 | Julie Ne | I object to the plans for the building of yet another office block in Maidehead. I wuld like to see the old canal done up to become aprt of the leisure area around the town. |
| 61 | satish sinhal | I agree to the above objections and also that we have too many office blocks in and around Maidenhead which are empty (105 I believe). Also the office block next door to the Old Cinema Site, called The Place, has much space To Let... it is Grade A also. Why do we need more offices built. We need leisure and an attractive area for the people and possibly tourists to come to see Maidenhead and use our shops. Thank you, a Maidonian who remembers the town when it was a jewel on the thames.... |
| 62 | Phillip Neal | Unlike its heyday, Maidenhead is now a long way from being the Jewel of the Thames - compare the town to the likes of Windsor for a reality check. We do not need another office block in a town already dominated by empty offices. This particular proposal must be rejected! |
| 63 | Alison Wattiau | I would like Maidenhead to be enhanced from now on and not spoiled with more office buildings, which we do not need. The site should be used for a leisure purpose, bringing the public to that area, and used in a way to promote the Green Way path and the waterway. |
| 64 | David & Jackie de Bromhead | I do not wish Maidenhead to be spoilt any further with many unoccupied offices and shops,it is far more imortant to have this site as a leisure and recreational area, with boats and gardens, and it will be a sad day when our only little bit off history, the 'Arches' are destroyed by the proposed monstrosity. |

| 66 | David Head | I think the planned development compromises what could be an exciting and necessary project to boost Maidenhead town centre. The development should address the requirements of the restoration of York stream and other waterways. |
| 67 | Sandra Bond | We do not need another office development in Maidenhead - there are already too many empty office buildings |
| 68 | Andy Crocker | |
| 69 | Sue Preedy | Maidenhead has a chance to provide something unique for the pleasure and enjoyment of residence and visitors alike. Dont let's ruin this one, last opportunity. |
| 70 | John Beaver | Anyone who cares for Maidenhead knows that this is wrong. This would be the worst example of the recent frightening over development in this town. |
| 71 | John Morgan | Overdevelopment of this historic and unique site |
| 72 | Anonymous | Please, let's take the opportunity to bring life back to Maidenhead's town centre. Another office block will just add to the lifeless feeling. We have an opportunity to add the York stream to the list of places to go |
| 73 | Colin Simmons | This is a strange building to put in such an architecturaly sensitive site.
Maidenhead has declined over the last 15 or so years and now seems devoid of soul. Putting an oppresive office block with no out of hours function seems like vandalism.
The only spark of humanity on the horizon is the proposal to upgrade York stream to navigable status, to create a centre of attention and potention leisure and tourism. This building will sterilise the area and prevent it reaching it;s true potential. |

| 78 | c hendry | offices can be put anywhere, the site next to the stream can be put to better use for the long term improvement of the town centre |
| 79 | Vinnie Mc Cann | Such a lot has been done and will continue to be done for the business’s of Maidenhead. York stream is a public amenity and no plans should interfere with that. Please reject this planning application on the bases of overdevelopment of a public space. |

| 84 | Anonymous | There are far too few open spaces in Maidenhead.
This area, if completely lost, could never be replaced. Since the former planned buildings are such a disgrace, let us take time to get it right this time and save this space for the people of Maidenhead to enjoy |

| 86 | Anonymous | I would be so happy to support this petition to restore York Stream and the adjoining derelict and disused waterways to a navigable standard. |
| 87 | Anthony Ashwell | This development is incompatible with plans for Maidenhead regeneration already committed/agreed in principle and should be rejected AHA |

| 91 | Lisa Walden | There is more than enough office space in this area - take a walk along the Bath Road to see all the empty offices. We should develop the town for the residents and not for transient office workers who just pass through. |

| 98 | Sarah London | Maidenhead is already getting too clogged up with office/housing blocks in the critical central areas of the town, and this creates blockages for future growth and retail development.
Additionally this developer's project appears to restrict the opportunities to add more attractive leisure, entertainment or retail features within Maidenhead's town centre, and also the route between the town and the river.
We need to make the most of any potentially attractive features in the centre of Maidenhead to make it a pleasant place to visit and walk around, not have more faceless office blocks right up on every pavement . I would like to see more sunlight, seating and greenery featured around new developments in the centre, and any interesting or attractive features should be highlighted to add some charm to the town.Maidenhead can't compete on the retail front with Slough, Reading or HIgh Wycombe. But what it can do is aim to be like Windsor and Marlow and have a smaller retail experience in a small town with some charm which makes the most of the few attractive features and any areas of interest . |
| 99 | Anonymous | maidenhead should be devoting itself to making full use of our waterways and developing a vibrant and cosmopolitan town centre, not building more office blocks to remain empty. Take Braywick House on Braywick Road for example - has been seeking tenants for years. ! |
