The Crusader Act

I am writing as a concerned founder of a cemetery watchdog group here in Southeast Michigan. In our state, as well as maybe your own, cemeteries are being neglected simply because they have reached the age of 100 years. Also, many cities and villages are not keeping up on the grounds of active cemeteries. This makes them often unsightly and unsafe for people wishing to pay respects to their family.

The worse case scenario, which needs to change is landlocked cemeteries (by businesses or private property owners. A long established PUBLIC burial ground should never be restricted by greedy landowners. This is devastating to those families who wish to connect with their past.

In line with the President's E.O 13287 (Preserve America), I implore all citizens to make sure your ancestors and loved ones resting places are always protected, never neglected, or abandoned. Help make this cause known and help protect your heritage, before someone takes away your religious and personal right to respect the deceased.

Thank you!
