GeorgeRIvera | This is very typical American style, let our people die over and over again before any corrective action is taken. Pay those who are sick nowwww!

Anonymous | The first disaster was an act of terrorism. The second disaster is having that leech profit millions of dollars while many real rescue workers are experiencing a slow death, loosing their homes, not having money to pay for medication and being shafted by the very system that was set up to help them. It borders on the criminal.

dennis fitzpatrick | it is time for the city and govt. to pay up and take care of the people like me and everyone else who are sick.
Connie Wilhelm | This money was allocated for those who responded to the horror of 9/11. As opposed to the lawyer who takes the money to line his pockets while the true heroes are dying because the responded to a cry for help.

Thomas Hoever | It's time for the gov't to stop playing games, it is time to settle this and move on. At the rate we are going we will still be playing around with this when the next terrorist attack occurs. The way this was handled it will be interesting to see if people are as willing to respond if and when the next attack occurs.
Anonymous | On those difficult days and nights in Sept. 2001, we workers were given a bit of good news: The air was not toxic! I was told that the US Coast Guard and EPA had pronounced the air safe. I believed them. My father served with the USCG during WW II. After returning home in October, changes in my health became apparent. During the past 7 years it has become apparent that my health continues to get worse from WTC exposure. Was it really so urgent to get Wall Street back open in Sept. 2001 that the health of workers and residents of the area some how took a back seat to the stock and bond markets? Please give us a break and direct the money to caring for us and funding research regarding auto-immune problems that have resulted from exposures at the WTC site. I want to be alive to watch my grandchildren grow and be able to play with them.
