Keep Capers in West Vancouver OPEN!

The petition

Capers has successfully operated in West Vancouver for almost 25 years and is part of the West Vancouver Coast lifestyle. Many residents shop there daily - often on the way home from work or from picking up the kids from school or soccer practise. Whole Foods is closing the store on October 27th, 2007 without consulting the community at all. They want to force us over to Park Royal where the store is so large you can't find what you are looking for. It takes too much time to go there and the parking is crazy. The marketing pros at Whole Foods have not done their work and as valued customers of Capers - a great business that they now own - we have our needs and wants and we want Capers to stay open! This is a Texas size slap in the face to West Vancouver residents and a lack of respect for the community. Reconsider your decision to close this orginal store, Capers, in West Vancouver and let us continue to shop and spend our money there. We love it! We like the size of the store, the super staff, the food choices, the take home cuisine and the location! Keep it open!
