This petition is about the Timing and Cost affiliated with the Cape Coral Utility Expansion Project. To move forward with such a large assessment at this time is irresponsible and reckless. The people of Cape Coral work hard for what they have and to have a local council propose this project at this time clearly shows the lack of respect and understanding that our people deserve and expect.

Cape Coral City Council members approved four resolutions that will bring water utilities to
57,000 properties north of Pine Island Road and water, sewer and irrigation utilities to 6,200 properties in SW 6/7. The cost affiliated with properties north of Pine Island will be around $6000.00, for SW 6/7 the cost will be around $17,000.
This petition is a call to action for citizens of Cape Coral. Email your City Council and let them know how you feel about this project. Please join me on the following dates to OBJECT to their project. For those who live north of Pine Island Road, they'll be July 7th, 8th, and 9th at 5:30 p.m. in the Mariner High School auditorium. If you live in Southwest Cape Coral, it'll be 5:30 on June 30th at city hall. Please keep in mind these dates can and probably will change. Please contact me to firm up all dates and times.
