| 162 | Ronald | I used to go when these practice drift nights were on and they were great nights. Only once a month but it was better then nothing. It kept me from doing stupid stuff on the streets, but since its gone i've been needing to get my 'fix' on public roads. Drifting is a booming sport across Oz and around the world, its so disappointing that it fails to grow in Vic which i see mostly due to the lack of track time offered to drivers. Several organizations (fullock, vicdrift, clubout run, garage 13) have tried to grow the sport by organizing track days for fellow drifters but without the support of track owners/officials it just will never take off (on the tracks) in vic. Drifting appeals to the youth of today and the youth market is massive, many gains are to be had if you market the sport with the support of tracks like Calder park. |
