It saddens our community,YUKAYEKE GUAJATAKA,that such an important medium of communication to us and the rest of the native community is being taken away from us. Is bad enough that "WE" are a minority in our own land, that this is being taken away from our community also.This is the only place where we can actually rely on for all indigenous people to voice their opinions and educate other cultures, by bringing awareness to such like, traditions,events,language.
Therefore us at Yukayeke Guajataka, humblely as that this show is kept on the air.
Please consider our plead and the plead of the rest of the members of our tribal community.

Dear Valerie Van Isler
I am a long time supporter of WBAI,
and would like to continue to hear Circle of Red Nation; please don’t take this station off the air.
Circle of Red Nations has been on the air for more than 16 years and has
represented all Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island! Furthermore, Circle of Red Nation recently included indigenous speakers from other continents in it’s programming.
Pacifica’s Mission Statement is to “contribute to a lasting understanding between individuals of all nations, races, creeds, and colors...
We do not feel that Pacifica is assisting in the good promotion of positive relations with Native Americans, by canceling one of our only media outlets.
We are asking for 1 hours a week and as the First People of this Nation, we do not feel as if we are asking for too much.
