Ms. Morris' views are an embarrassment to our state and it's a disgrace that so many students statewide may be potentially victimized by her elitist beliefs and possible seat on the SBOE. Unfortunately it doesn't appear that Ms. Morris is open-minded enough to take an honest look at the ramifications of her position on ALL children. It will take an overwhelming effort of the people or western Kansas to voice their beliefs and values through the election process. Hopefully voter participation will be high and the results will accurately reflect the wishes of the majority. If low voter turn-out results in Ms. Morris being seated, those who chose not to express their views by voting must be willing to live with the consequences and should direct their criticism and disdain for the inevitable unjust destruction and humiliation that EVERY child in the state will endure as part of their education at themselves for their lack of action when it mattered most.

I have seen and worked with many students who do not speak engligh in the home and the only place they get the help is at school. Why would this crazy woman want to take away the opportunity that these children's partents came to the US for?
