tamara mantlo | I'm a 40 year old chd survivor....
Agnes Sanelli | Our son was born with TGA. We were not aware of the heart problem berfore his birth.
Tiffany Ferguson | My son was almost sent home from birth as a perfect and healthy baby. Thankfully a nurse looked more into that horrid murmur he had that was thought as normal! Sure enough, after being flown to Phoenix he was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis/Aortic Regurgitation. We need awareness, research, and screening... period! My prayers go out to those of you who are fighting a CHD! Keep fighting!
Ashlea Konecny | If my son would have been tested, he would have been diagnosed before two months of age, and would have saved his poor little lungs from much of the damage they sustained from his heart sending too much blood to them.

J D Hickman |
Maxine Colbourne | I think as much as possible should be done for babies in every sphere of health, but of course without a functioning heart the little ones would have no chance of survival. Keep up the good work and lets get this screening going.

Shirley Emerson | This is certainly one of the simplest ways we can detect heart problems early! I also think it would be very inexpensive.
cindy vasquez | This will truly save a life, if this was in effect when my son was born they thought he wasa normal healthy baby till the 14th day, he came with in seconds of dying , having a simple pulse oz could have saved him from enduring life saving procedures & operations that scar him and damaged his lungs from respirators that kept him alive.. a simple pulse ox taped on a toe saves a life

| 1599 | AmyBales | My child was born with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome and I was born with Coarctation of the aorta. This is so important that we help these babies as soon as they are born.
Will Bales my infant son passed away on his 6 month birthday after his second surgery. |
Carrie Romines | I am the parent of a HLHS child and would love to see the pulse oximetry screening added to the newborn screening panel.
