| 4 | Sheryl Boss | A billion dollar deal and most likely no feasibility study! I would think if they had done one a representative would have been at the meeting on Sept 5th to answer questions. |
| 5 | Joe Braswell | |
| 6 | Troy & Jacqueline Naeger | My husband and I live in the River Hills Subdivision and are very concerned about this. We have a 10 year old son and an 8 year old son. We are worried about the blow off and air quality for our kids and ourselves. |

| 9 | Roger A. Leonhardt II | No study?...This shows a complete disregard for
The public. |
| 10 | Robert De Garmo | I am a resident of Festus actually, but we are all in this together! I would like to hear more on the DNR "Site Permit" that will be required, what's happening there, who's having input, etc... |
| 11 | KAREN BURGER | As a property owner of River Hills, I would like to say that I for one do not want a smelting plant in my front yard! Would you?? Let Wings Iron Ore Company find another site that is not smack dab in the middle of a thriving residencial community! This intire proposition stinks, and I have a feeling that someone involved is getting nice currency lined pockets out of this deal. Why else would you NOT be public and forthcomming with information. Why would parties involved enter into a "Do not Discuss" agreement? You only keep your mouth shut when you have something to hide, and that usually means inocent people getting screwed while the parties keeping hush are toasting with Champaign. Thanks for asking the people what THEY want. Thanks for shoving this down our throats. Thanks for taking the time to say WE CARE! Thanks for NOTHING.
I will assist in any way I can to make sure all facts are known, since the ones behind all this care not to. I will make sure OUR VOICE IS HEARD! |

| 15 | Terry Propst | I have expressed my concerns to Mayor Schilly about the idea of having a feasibility study done on any and all projects brought to the City Council in regards to the PPG property. Evidently he has had his mind made up for some time. Just because he has been working on a project (Wings Inc.) for 2 years does not make it the best project for Crystal City. This is a big mistake. |
| 16 | Andrew | I'm from St. Louis, and we have plenty of room in case you want to move north. Hell, you can always hitch a ride on their new pipeline or hitchike on the next barge up river...the Federal Government needs to know about this mess. |
| 17 | Daniel Gaynor | I support Mr. Jack Ginnever and his efforts to promote TRANSPARENCY and GOOD FAITH when it comes to important decisions that will affect the resident community in Crystal City. It appears that a controversial development has been approved on the sly and that the people were not consulted at all about it. This is wrong. The residents of Crystal City deserve better when it comes to something that is so impactful to the community. |

| 19 | debbie brewer | i hate to see what the future would be like. 5 yr. from now will crystal exsist. This was a peaceful town. beautiful homes were being biult. the same grade school and highschool are still here. Since I went there. I have live in many areas , most of which were industial .I did not like the life style always in a hurry,in a city life . every where you was a gang member. for me the city was ugily. the people were rued and did not care about the next person most of thepeople were poor. Even if the people were paid a nice style of living by this smeltering plant. they sure won't live in Crystal City any more. |
| 20 | Julie Ross | YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. Your voices should be heard. I live in House Springs and I dont want them in Crystal City. I think a lawyer is a good idea. It needs to be stopped. They should not have closed sessions when It comes to this. |

| 25 | Jason Hale | I own property in Riverhills over looking the site. Crystal City is make a huge mistake and I think everybody should join hands to reverse this mess. I don't know anybody lately saying "ha lets move over by that granite city steal factory its has such a great smell and look." Property values will plummet. |

NO SMELLY SMELTER
NO POLLUTION
NO UNHEALTHY BUSINESS
NO CORPORATE CONTAMINATION!!!
NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO, |
| 43 | Jackie (Parr) Morris | I believe that the PEOPLE of Crystal City should be able to have an unbiased feasibility study done. I believe the voters of Crystal City and not a select few should be able to decide this important decision. |
| 44 | Marcie Elliott | |
| 45 | Denise Welker | |
| 46 | Daniel Dashner | An independent, impartial cost-benefit analysis is essential to allay the publics concerns and fears.
Are there other communities vying for this smelter? I haven't heard of any. So what is the rush? All I ask for now is that the city take the time to get all the answers before committing to this project. Public trust is essential to any politician, and by keeping your electorate in the dark this long has severely compromised that trust.
By the way, shouldn't the fact that no other iron smelter is currently operational in the United States raise at least one red flag? |
