AnonymousDon't cancel!!!!
Melissa Carlecancelling this show would be a mistake and CBC would loose their younger demographics FOR SURE! big mistake on their part.
Dan SmithThis is what I just sent to CBC through their Contact Us > Complaint link.... Hopefully it has some effect. Words cannot express how utterly violated, enraged, disappointed and confused today's announcement of the cancellation of jPOD makes my wife and I. We have been loyal fans of this show from the moment it was announced. We have followed its development and waited in anticipation until it finally premiered. jPOD is a perfect piece of Canadiana that needs to be preserved, especially if CBC wants to renew its aging demographic. My wife and I are 26 and 28 respectively. Are we not the audience that CBC NEEDS to attract to stay relevant and progressive? There is no other show on television in Canada that offers what jPOD does, and it would truly be a crime agaist our culture to cancel it in favour of rehashed schlock like The Border which offers nothing new or truly unique that we can't find on other channels. We ask that this comment be forwarded to the powers-that-be along with the thousands of other emails you are surely getting regarding this foolish move. We sincerely hope that you will see the error of this decision and choose to give us, YOUR AUDIENCE, what we actually want to see... Otherwise, our family will have no other reason to watch CBC on a regular basis.
Allison WebsterMoving it to friday was giving it a death sentence. Best show on the CBC aside from the Hour.
AshajPod is one of the smartest Canadian television shows currently airing. If anything, it would increase the reputation of Canadian television shows. Canceling the show seems completely illogical.
Julia AndersonThis is the best new Canadian series in years. Despite the fact it got less promotion than all the other new shows on CBC and was given the worst time slot ever people were starting to catch on to this show. Was the CBC trying to sabotage this show by targeting viewers in their 20's and airing it in the one time slot that every person in their demographic is out of the house? The last few episodes have been great and I think the show would just keep getting better. It's fresh funny and uniquely Canadian. Come on Sophie? Boring. The Border - thanks but I'd rather turn the channel and watch CSI. Jpod was the hit, have faith CBC and give it a second chance!

Peter BensonPlease reconsider and give jPod another chance. It is clearly the best new series on the CBC. The writing is fresh, the acting is great and it's uniquely Canadian. It's the first Canadian series I've seen that I can actually relate to and it caters to a wide demographic. Try actually promoting it and putting it in a good time slot and I guarantee that this show will become a hit. Give jPod a 2nd season!!!

Jenelle StevensI love the book and the show is a wonderful adaptation! Jpod has become a must for my roommates and I before heading out on Friday nights. Please keep us, laughing every week!
Colin TyejPod is one of the best shows to come out of Canada in a very long time. I cannot believe that you have decided to cancel it just when it is reaching its peak. It's original, different and funny, it deserves to remain on our screens.

Caprice whiteI love Jpod - save it please - get rid of MVP - that is a bad show. Count the streaming video views - so many of my friends and I are out on Friday nights and download the show - I am sure you can put adverts in to get your revenue stream from downloading. Very sad the show was so abruptly cancelled.
Jonathan Hinchley
Lauren KrakauFinally, a good show on CBC and they kill it right away... give it time!

Mark LarssenFan from the UK studying Computer Game Production, i love this show! it's a shame for it to be cancelled, a crime against decent, cult television. A fine and standout example of SUCCESSFUL book-film media

Nigel TunnacliffeThis is my favourite show of all time. I loved the book, and the show really speaks to me. I am an avid fan of CBC radio (uncommon for a 21 year old?) and this show is the greatest thing that happened to CBC TV. It shows the world what living in Vancouver is really like.

Chantelle BalfourWonderful Canadian show, please keep it going! Support all the great talents that Canada has to offer.
John StevensThe only show I watch without exception AND it is Canadian. Why cancel this show? What could possibly take it's place? Plus I need to find out if Ethan and Kaitlin ever hook up!
LaurajPod is a wonderful, original, intelligent and well-written show. Please keep it on the air for us to enjoy!
Dustin OstrowerkaMy friends and I enjoyed the show. Seeing our own social microcosm setup on the tv (although a bit more embellished) was something fresh and non-cookie cutter. I hope you can reconsider the decision...the show will be missed.
AnonymousThis show has been the new reason to love Fridays! It's witty and hilarious! How can they possibly cancel it!?
AnonymousI love jPod! You can't cancel it! I don't always watch it on TV, but I watch it on the website as well! Does that not count?!
RichI believe it's a big mistake to let this show die off. Was another reason to tune into the station other than for HNIC.
Caroline LucasjPod is an amazing show and should continue. It has gotten praise from critics and fans alike. Taking this show off the air is a horrible mistake and if the CBC continues with this plan of action, they are going to lose their "younger" demographic even more. Young people do not want to see shows such as Royal Canadian Air Farce or the Rick Mercer Report. We want something clever and even a tad bit edgy. jPod will be a success if it is given a chance.
Sarah LemmonI'm sorry that I watch it online opposed to on my television, but I still watch it and wish you'd consider other money-making options like advertisments on the online player instead of terminating the show.
Richard Sim
Andrew FaircloughSave jPod. Keep Canadian TV culturally intelligent.

AnonymousI cant even put into words the disappointment. Why must you pull the best new series off the air? jPod is so original and unlike anything on TV anywhere in the world. You choose instead cookie cutter programming that speaks nothing about our culture. It's made by Douglas Coupland! He is a Canadian legend that has a unique voice worth listening to and worth representing this nation. I guess you are just too old to understand. Remember when you were younger and you told yourselves you'd never be boring, old adults? You've now just failed yourselves.
Izabela LeszkoLOVE THE SHOW! KEEP IT!
Owen Wiggins
David AndrewsJPod is a brilliant Canadian show which serves well to showcase homegrown talent. Coupland may be the greatest Canadian writer of our time, capturing the essence of life in the modern West. Cancelling the show is an injustice to Canadian art in both film and literature.
BADIR OssmanSave JPod !!!
Beth LaverockDon't cancel this show! It's so awesome to finally have a great Canadian made night-time drama!!!!!
