Anonymous | FUCK THE POLICE
Anonymous | I agree that if the police are so worried or fear getting hurt or even killed they should look into another job. the state should allow people who own their cars do whatever they please to their car so long as it does not pose a threat to the rest of the general public. and i think a window tint film of 25 to 35 percent should be allowed.
Thomas Bendinelli | I agree the law restrictions should be lowered to 35 percent max vice 70 and that the 4" strip accross the top be increased to 6" max as that is approx the same distance a visor covers anyway.

Rocky Stone | I agree with this, if an officer feels unsafe all they need to do is tell you to lower your windows over their already way to loud loud speaker.

Annette | that law sucks!!
Christian Pojas | Why pull me over for having too dark of tint while there are criminals out there doing worse things...
Daniel Todd | While I do believe that Officer saftey is important they can still see through a tinted window. Tinting the windows will not only protect the interior of the car but also the people inside.
Anonymous | dumb law do away with it!!!

eric cisneros | I think the petition text pretty much says what I feel.I dont think the public should keep paying for something like this. If it's such an insecurity then the police can ask the person to roll their windows down or step out of the vehicle, if they refuse then call backup and take it from there. There is no reason law abiding citizens should pay for criminals stupid actions.

David Newell | I always thought that law was foolish... especially while driving straight toward a low afternoon sun, getting my eyeballs burned from my skull.
cody | i agree 100 percent

Anonymous | Absolutely agree
Anonymous | darker tints should b allow, but still restrict from tooo dark such as limo 5%
Anonymous | Not to mention that they are using this law as a pretext for racial profiling.
Anonymous | i think this is a great petition due to valid points of temperatures exceeding 110 degrees in the majority of the state of california.
James | just got a ticket a few days ago. mine said the violation wasn't correctable. sucks

Ryan Gettleman | It's about time...there is mounting scientific evidence that light that is filtered through untinted windows can cause cancer...The Surgeon General should be all over this one.

Anonymous | I strongly agree with your "tint law" petition. I have nothing against police officers, because there are few in my family in another state.
Jonathan | Got pulled over for no front plate, I had my windows down but the officer told me to put them up and then proceeded to write me a ticket for tint, UNFAIR!
