| 112 | Rosemary Bassilakis | As I sign this petition I am recalling that of the seven woman I know who gave birth within the past three years, at least five of them had Cesareans. These woman were young and healthy. The staggering number of Cesarean births in this state is of great concern to me. Cesarean Awareness Month should be looked upon as an opportunity to educate and promote wellness. |

Vaginal Child Birth is very important for babies in helping their lungs and body to function in the outside world. Beyond a need for a cesarean due to an emergency or medical situation in which a vaginal delivery would put the life of the Mom or baby at risk vaginal delivery should be given a full chance. |

| 126 | Leigh Deppe | All women deserve to be fully aware of their choices before, during, and after cesarean birth. The government should be looking at ways to support all women with their births. |

I think that helping women especially women with children to become empowered is a righteous and just task for are society to focus its energies on. Lets just hop its not used to make money. |

| 135 | Lynn Reed | What were are doing is obscene! The CS rate in Augusta, GA is 41%. That is due to lack of education of BOTH the medical community and their patients. I blame the OBs who make the events surrounding birth too centered on what is wrong. Women are hungry for education and support NOT ultrasound pictures and test reults!!! |
