Petition to add a bus stop at Naraticong and Minsi

The residents of Lenape Way, Naraticong Trail, Minsi Road and Raritan Way herein seek consideration for a proposal to add a Readington Township School bus stop at the corner of Naraticong Trail and Minsi Road. We affirm that the exiting bus stop at Naraticong Trail and Centerville Road is more than half a mile for many of the neighboring residents. This poses a significant inconvenience to those families. Additionally, there are not any sidewalks for children to walk on, which can be extremely dangerous. Many residents must make this journey two or more times a day. Some must travel this distance back and forth numerous times in all weather conditions because children of various grades have different drop off/pick up times. We see no good reason that the requested stop be denied to these residents. Busses already enter into the development to drop off and pick up children in the half day kindergarten program. We greatly appreciate your immediate consideration for this request.
