The so called cannabilism of the camaro would not happen beacause If GM gave people the option between either camaro or the bird they would attract far more buyers, as some people simply perfer pontiac. As to they money issue why not just make the car cosmetics for the bird an option for potential buyers rather than saying F the firebird. That way they can have tight pocket books and appease the masses. |

| 1915 | Anonymous | My dad had a white 78 TA here in miami when he was younger. Now that I am old enough to drive I have 97 ws6 TA. I really want the Trans am to come back, and be made well by gm. So it dosen't compete with the camaro, in this gas price concious time we live, they should make less Trans Ams, and build the new TA with performance similar to the Z06 corvette. The 78 Trans am was the top dog in performance for the time, make it happen againe! And do it smart! |

| 1920 | kevin louis cormier | my dad had a 1969 trans am i would love to have one but when he died my step mother sold it and i got nothing but i do have a 1976 camaro in good condition i would trade for the 69 trans am or the concept you have designed in a heartbeat. It would probably be the only chance i would have to own one because trying to find a 69 that is restorable is difficult. The only thing that i have that keeps the memory of my father ever present in my home are my many die-cast models of the 69 trans am..But i gotta tell ya that i love all the pontiac muscle cars of that time period.(69,76,77,79 til now) My dad was a pontiac man he owned ever year I guess it's in the genes. |
