Glad to see so many people trying so hard to bring back not only a car..... but what i like to call a LEGEND. Im 27 now and owned my 1st ta when i was 16 and have owned around roughly 15-20 since. I was hart brokin when i found out they would no longer be made. I would gladely do anything i possably can to help this LEGEND RISE again. Keep up the good work kevin i admire your work.

| 1850 | Seth Jeffrey | My second car was a '96 black Trans-Am. I loved that car. I had to get rid of it when I joined the Air Force. Now that I am able to buy another one you have halted production and forgotten your true fan base. I won't even consider buying the second best thing, a Camaro. The curves that the Trans-Am had were revolutionary and set apart from every other cookie cutter out there. Only the people who drove a TA know what the difference is and it cannot be replaced with a cheap imitation. Get rid of that disgrace of a GTO, and spend the money more wisely. Now you hung the hat to the GTO as well. I guess now you will make a G8 for a couple of years trying to find the same customer base, but in the long run you are further alienating us at the same time. The sad part is that with all the hype that was spent on the GTO's advertising for its 40 yr. anniversary, you have now departed that road as well. It was slapped together as a last ditch effort to regain lost revenue against FORD's ability to think ahead for the new Mustang. All that marketing and research money would have been better spent to make the TA stand apart from the Camaro. Even though gas prices are high today, the technology is there to make the car get 28 MPG. Look at the new Corvette. If you make it...we will come!!! You have starved us long enough!!! |
